Been thinking on this, but want to throw it out to you guys:

I'm trying WG Uber for the first time tomorrow. No questions about the use.

My question lies with the application (refreshing) of McKee's plastic trim restore afterward.

Does Uber leave behind anything that would hinder or inhibit the refreshing coat of the McKee's?

I cannot imagine the small amount of WG Uber’s polymers left behind would be hurting or negatively affecting anything. With that said, I have no experience with McKee’s trim restorer. One of My favorite places to use Uber is on door jambs and sills. Be sure to mix some Uber at 3oz to one gallon distilled (detail spray concentration) for quick clean ups. You’ll love Uber. I bought a gallon:)

My guess-- The plastic restorer will wipe out any Uber that is left. Uber contains some gloss enhancers. Not a durable protectant, as far as I know.

This just kinda popped into my head tonight.

I've never given it a thought using a bucket wash like Meg's HW, but with the Uber, just made me pause a bit.

Maybe I'm nuts. (Well, I guess you guys have already nailed that down........ ;) )

Paul you are in for a treat, WG Uber is a great product. As LED said I wouldn't worry to much about applying the Trim Restorer over it. Personally I would give it a quick wipe with a mild APC, can't hurt and only take a couple extra minutes.

Absolutely this. I don't rinseless wash anymore but I wipe down my jambs with Uber everytime I wash. Also works good on mirrors, touchscreens, and quick interior wipedowns in a pinch. Not the new hotness anymore but still good stuff.

So yeah, The Uber was a dream to use.

No ill effects noticed upon the Trim Restore application either.

Thank you guys for the answers. :xyxthumbs:

What’s the new hotness?

N-914? Larry Kosilla's product? Idk I've lost track and I've got a gallon of Uber so it's going to be awhile before I need to worry about it!

Oh, I thought you were going to say some other stuff... I put N-914 under Uber unless I want something that’s absolutely pure prior to laying something down. I’m not into rinseless foam, so Larrys product doesn’t appeal to me. I guess Uber’s still the hotness.

Why don’t you rinseless wash anymore?

Armor All wash wipes? LOL

Bought a cheap ryobi over a year ago and I've been having great luck with it... for me it's just easier to 2bm with shampoo if I already have it out. Don't worry, Uber is still getting a workout and the gallon is going to last a looong time. One of the best drying aids I've used and you don't have to be stingy with it at 3oz/gal. Also try it on your granite counter tops if you want them to feel smoother and have more pop lol.
