Hey everyone my name is Donavin I have been detailing for a couple of years now but im always out trying to learn more about the industry. Im hoping to learn a lot here as well.
A little about me… I was laid off from my corp job about a year ago..so I was collecting unemployment and detailing some cars here and there on the side .. I was doing mobile detailing.
Well word got around and things started to take off.. I was living in NJ.. but as soon as that cold weather hit it put me right out of business… so I really want my company to succeed so I moved here to Austin texas where im starting over.. so far things are going well.

Looking forward to talking to everyone.

Good luck in Texas. I've asked more than my share of questions and have never got a bad answer so you came to the right place.
 
Welcome to the south. I went thru Army Basic Training at Ft. Dix, NJ. It was Nov, Dec, and Jan. 1980 something, lol. You are correct about the weather. I was glad to get back south.
 
Welcome! Makes me miss Austin. Took a vacation there last summer and loved it!! One of the places on my list of places to relocate here soon.

:welcome:...and stick with your business! You can do a much better job at taking care of yourself than Corporate America. Maybe a part-time job someplace to get those guaranteed funds but I'm sure you'll do well detailin' in Austin! Please keep us posted. And lots of pics please!

I have a few friends there. We do a annual Austin Hills Rally which is a blast. Should do well in Tx. I didn't get laid off but started plan B as well.
