This is a screen shot from the show Royal Pains, what a shame. You'd think they would make the cars look nice for TV. Guess Not, the studio should really hire someone from these forums to come in and do their cars

Hulu - Royal Pains: If I Were a Sick Man - Watch the full episode now.
At about 12:45 into the show.

The poor car, it should be taken away from them and given to one of use who knows how to restore and love it.

I wish I could figure out how to imbed the image into the forum.

I just saw the episode today. Man, that black Ferrari was sad. The bad hood might have hidden the camera overhead, though.

Funny you pointed this out as my wife and I were watching the same show and I commented about the condition of the black paint being so messed up. My wife thought that they may have coated the paint to reduce possible reflection in the cameras during filming but I don't I don't buy it. There were several very shiney red Farraris' in beautiful condition. Someone from Autogeek should contact them to assure us that no high end cars were damaged during the filming of Royal Pains.:D

That's an interesting point, cause my wife works in Hollywood and she says that sometimes if something is way too shiny they spray hair spray on it. But that was definitely swirls.

Yeah, it just looks like the Ferrari is dirty and swirled. I think most of the time, the director and camera-men know how to stay away from and out of the reflections of shiny things without having to alter the the object itself.

I would honestly refuse to own it or drive it... Who am I kidding I would still drive it, its a real shame but Im sure the director couldnt give two thoughts about a swirled car haha. Besides, 99% of the viewers wouldnt have noticed it. ;)
