What are some must buys on AG?

grit guards and the guzzler towel. Pinncacle is also a good buy (made in usa certified)

Two buckets with grit guards, tons of microfibers, APC, compounds/polishes, pads, and a polisher of your choice. That'll get you started.

Are you in need of anything? I tend to buy a lot of towels. Specifically the rolled egde ones. Get a six pack of 'em!

- Foam gun
- Grit Guards
- Cobra variety pack + a guzzler
- Wax or sealant
- Clay
- Daytona brush

I'll keep my list brief OP.......

-2 five gallon buckets
-2 grit guards (your in AA and yes, maize and blue is available!)
-1 gallon of DuraGloss rinseless wash
-1 Aqua sponge (Amazon.com has the cheapest price)
-the large, Griot's drying towels

Once you wash your car with this system, well, your eyes will be open. period! Then there's the other products offered here to maintain/protect your ride but you'll find those after reading some more (hint, hint.......Dura Gloss products!)

some of the bogos are great deals. I buy alot of towels, washes, waxes, pads for DA are sometimes a good deal.

Looks like right now, they have a buy one, get one free on the Pinnacle Glass Cleaner with Water Repellant. I'd say jump on this quickly, it really sounds like a superb product. Mark

Thanks guys I'm getting an idea. I hope to have my part time detail business ready by spring. Keep the ideas flowing!

- Grit Guards
- Cobra Guzzler
- ONR or ONRWW for rinseless washes, QD, clay lube, can be used on windows with some IPA added in, it's awesome.
- Duragloss 901 shampoo is the cheapest, most widely praised shampoo available. Haven't tried it yet but look at this thread to see what's popular among shampoos : http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/58573-favorite-shampoo-weekly-washes.html
- Wash media : somewhat of a preference, you can't go wrong with the MF chenilles and if you want to step it up, there's the CarPro wool mitt, the Dodo Juice Wookie's Fist, and AG carries a natural sea sponge that's been received well.
- Collinite 845 is praised as one of the most durable waxes around and it's hard to beat at it's price. If you'd prefer a sealant, Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant or Blackfire Wet Diamond, or Menzerna Powerlock all seem to be popular.
- Meguiar's #105 and #205 seem to be quite popular for compounding and polishing.
- Daytona Brush (& Jr.) for more soiled wheels and harder to reach spots, Wheel Woolies are a viable alternative.
- If you want to speed up claying, look into the Nanoskin Autoscrub Pads for a DA polisher or the wash mitt if you'd prefer to do it by hand. There's also the speedy surface prep towel.

Universal pad cleaner system (my next purchase)
Never have enough MF towels, any kind, they'll be used for something!

Montana Boars Hair Wheel Brush. The best brush for wheel faces IMHO....And, you can only get them here.
