What are the key details to be included on a business card

Hi Geeks,

I'm preparing the business card for my part time job as a mobile detailer.

These are the details that i will include:
- Name
- Job title
- Contact number
- Logo

Please let me know if you have any suggestions/comments on the details above.

By the way, is it okay to print the business card on a transparent pvc card?

A business card is very "personal". It should represent you and can take on many form (including a gimmicky transparent PVC card).

The basic info you need on your card is:
- name of the business
- your name
- your telephone number
- A recognizable and unique logo

Some include a lot of additional info on it but I prefer something a little simpler

In mine I included
- A web page so they can view my work
- A statement of purpose (although I now know that people don't know what detailing is)
- A background picture

I elected not to use the reverse for a listing of what I do because I feel that it engages people in asking questions and can therefore use my marketing skills, rather than pointing at the back of the card. I have seen some pretty impressive lists included on the reverse and I am not opposed to doing it in the future, but again I chose to use the KISS principle and overall like my card

I do use it at time as a "gimmick" for marketing my skills in providing a superior reflection.

I would not put your job title. Emphasize you're mobile & will come to their location.

I also state on the back that I do Headlight Restoration/Remote Starters and Window tint. The starters and tint I sub out but make a percentage off of.

Every business card is 20% off any Detail.
The back of mine you can write on and I use the card as a referral program... I give everyone 3-4 cards and if I get 2 back with the persons initials with referrall I give them EXTRA discount or a free $20 off their next detail.

The inside still needs lots of work.

I iPhone4 sucks as a camera =P

I'm not mobile and everyone business cards have their job titles on them. So many people when I hand them my card they always say your the owner good to know.
 
Here is mine. I get a lot of compliments on them.

May want to put "mobile" detailer as in "Your exclusive mobile detailer."
