Hi all,

I want to start detailing all my cars and am not afraid to spend money if I know it is the best.

Thanks in advance,
Alvin

Knowing what to do, how to do it, and in what order is probably the most important factor. The "best" products won't help you. Most of detailing is putting in the effort, taking the time to do it right, and knowing which type of product to use, rather than the right brand. Sure, some products are better than others but all in all, if you put in a full days effort even using whatever you can find off the shelf at pep boys, the results will be excellent so long as you do the job right.

Read the forums, and read product reviews. If money isn't an issue then I would buy anything at your local auto stores.

Bad advice. I wouldnt put a penny into any of the auto stores around my place. They are cheap consumer, silicone filled products. I only buy the top brands here at autogeek.

But if money isnt an issue, then no need to buy low grade products.

Yea I would def say that browse the entire site looking at products and reading their reveiws. I know this site like the back of my hand. Also watch videos of mike detailing, he will point you in to the right direction as far as technique and products go.

Your exactly right, I meant to type wouldn't instead of would. Completley changed what I was trying to say. Sorry for the confusion.
