IMO, yes!

Good old meat thermometer is your friend with Prime Rib. When it hits 97 degrees (in the center), I remove it from the oven and let it sit for 15 minutes. It will then rise to about 103 as it sits.

My method anyway.........
 
My wife cooks the best SOS. My first meal in boot camp (Navy) in May of 1969. I like it better now than I did back then. FYI, SOS is short for Slop On a Shingle. That’s not what it was called in the military but I’m keepin’ it clean.

there's a small cafe near my house and they are open inside for dine in despite all that's going on (majority of all food joints/establishments are take out only or drive-thru). i think i'm going to order this next time i'm there and if they don't have it, i'm gonna show them this picture and ask them to make it... :D

p.s. maybe have them toss in a biscuit or two as well... :D

With all the money saved do to SAH orders i can eat good and better.

I can buy 2lbs of Jumbo Scallops and 2lbs large shrimp from Costco for about $60-70. Thats the cost of 3 meals when eating out. I don’t spend less on food jist got use to cooking. I get about 10 meals outta those two bags.

Just gotta dodge buying anything else on way out!

The place we went to (in Houston) actually had a zydeco band playing at the time, I typically don’t like eating dinner when a band is playing but it felt “normal”.

Currently restaurants aren’t supposed to be over 50 or 75% occupancy right now but we’re finding a lot of businesses are ignoring the rules, there were even off duty police working security outside at the restaurant!

Btw...if you weren’t eating everyone was wearing a mask at the time!

Looks yummy! Define aged please. We currently have 6 year old cheddar in the drawer but my twins and I love 10 & 12 year old cheddar as well.

We get that one when we run out of our favorite Wisconsin cheeses.

We run up to Monroe, Wisconsin every quarter to get satiate our Spotted Cow, cheese and sausage fix.
We started out on one year old and liked it so much we’ve gone through 1-10 year old by year and also tried 12 year old cheddar. My wife likes two year old and nothing beyond that. The girls and I favor either 5 or 6 year old cheddar. The 10 or 12 year old is a special treat due to the price per pound.
