I'm eating six $2.00 McDonald's Filet-O-Fish.

Are you one of those "elites" I've been hearing about lately? LOL.
 
Had to shovel out the grill - blistered shishito peppers with salt, shichimi togarashi, sesame seeds, and garlic aioli.

Love me some shishito’s... if your into more intense flavor and like umami...... try replacing salt with bonito flakes.

I like to blister sprinkle with bonito and red pepper flakes.

I'll have to give that a try. I've had bonito on sushi before but I don't think I've had it on anything else. I plan to have 2 shishito plants this summer so I'm always looking for ways to use them. I've also diced them and put them on tacos and in grilled cheese.

Made our own brunch today. gf made cinnamon rolls from scratch and I made Bailey's french toast with Nutella whipped cream.

What's the marinade? Gochujang? I picked up some bonito flakes to try this weekend. Gonna give miso/lemon a try.

My wife makes the most amazing chicken soup. Makes her own stock. She seasons it perfectly. I've never had any better.

She made a giant pot on Monday.

Tuesday morning, we woke up to find that we forgot to put it in the fridge after the pot cooled. About a gallon and half of amazing chicken soup.....down the drain.

Good news.....there are more chickens. :)
 
Made a grilled cheese for a contest. Blistered/diced shishito peppers, apple smoked bacon, shredded swiss & gruyere cheese on San Francisco style sourdough bread.

That sounds horrible..... tell you what get a dry iced cool container..... pack it up.... ship it to me so I can dispose of it for you....
