What are you guys using for spray wax?

I've been using Rupes 808, Duragloss Aquawax, and Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax.

It seems it doesn't matter what I try over the years-- I always end up back with Aquawax.

FrankenDetailer....kinda of a home brew but I have access to 303 Quick Wax, GG spray wax and many others!

Maybe off topic alittle but the rupes spray sealant is pretty dam good.Thats one product that stands alone meaning it's different from the others.slick high gloss and super easy to work with.

DG Aqua wax and Fast clean and shine .I also use a spray wax from Dubert Chem. called Aqua Glow. It leaves a super high gloss, and seems to last a long time.

Lots of votes for that D156! Looks like BF midnight sun is runner up... I'll check them out. Plan is to apply when car is wet after 2 bucket wash or while doing a rinseless/waterless wash. Practically just a maintenance wax for extra protection. I did want to apply wet and it seems like the BF one is to be applied dry. I feel like it just adds an extra step after I dry the car.

If that's your plan, using it as a drying aid while the car is still wet, D156 works great. It seems to grab onto the existing water on the panel and transform it into a liquid wax form that clings onto the paint until you wipe it away with ease. I use it on customers vehicles as a drying aid and I like what it does.

Sonax Brilliant Shine. They call it a QD but it is actually a pretty good spray wax with a little ability to clean as well. Maybe their actual spray wax would be better and I would like to try it but it would lack the cleaning ability of Brilliant Shine. I use it over Net Polymer Shield. Second place is a tie between Aquawax and Lucas Slick Mist Spray Wax. They both are terrific drying aids as well. Lucas is often overlooked but it can be found at almost any auto supply store and at WalMart. It is cheap too!

D156 is fantastic. The idea is to set an appropriate expectation. As a "maintenance" product it works very well - it's great to keep up the look and feel of paintwork, glass, and vinyl and rubber trim.

I use Griots Garage Spray Wax, McKee's 37 Fast Wax and Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax, but planning on purchasing some Blackfire Midnight Sun during one of these cyber days.

Agreed! I have a ton of spray waxes and the new offering from Ultima feels slicker than my favorite, but seldom used, D156.

Ultima's product is newer, so it may just be me feeling something different and labeling it as superior.

The beading with the Acrylic Spray Wax is remarkable. As is the longevity. But I've found it a little more tricky to apply than some others. It doesn't like warm surfaces and dries quickly.

If you're mainly interested in a excellent drying aid/maintenance spray wax, definitely try Prima Hydro.

Hydro rewards you with an even better look overnight as the polymers cross-link on your paint. This is a "must try" product!
