NOT including paint correction.
I've searched and browsed almost the entire Net trying to get a true picture from the 'average' detailer. And no Flame intended.
But I've seen posts where guys are saying they wash, clay, interior (which to me seems to be the hardest part), wheels and tires, etc.
As an example, one post said 5-7 hours @ $150/180 and he's making $30 an hour.
Except, there's the cost of clay, wax, vinyl/leather dressing, wheel and tire cleaner/dressing, glass cleaner, etc. Not to mention Tools, MF/Terry towels, buffing pads, brushes ... the list goes on.
So if I'm only billing my labor @ $30 +/- an hour, what am I really coming away with after I pay for materials; not to mention rent or the cost of a mobile setup.
I've gotten a bit off topic.
Can anyone offer how much $ in materials they use to do an average daily driver?
