What is a really good bug and tar remover? I use stoner tarminator with a honey comb. It isn't that great I need a great product, suggestions?

i have had great results from Surf City Garage Road Trip Grime Remover. this product has made very easy work of tree sap and other unidentified sticky substance on vehicles

best i had my hands on is LIFTER ONE bug & tar remover.

clay? I always thought Tarminator was good. I also have Grime Destroyer, but have not tried it. For tar splattered across the bottom 1/4, clay is the easiest IMO.

Thank you, I used clay before as well and it seemed to work very well. I am going to try the Dodo

Thanks

Stoners Tarminator for the tough stuff for me.

Solid advice on the clay!

Hot water is the easiest, then try the other stuff if hot water does not take it off.

clay does do a nice job but would not say it is the easiest. when i had to use Surf City Grime Remover i sprayed it on let it dweel for like maybe 1 minute then took hose and sprayed it off.

Diamondite Bug Eraser. There is very little that this product will not remove. I got to work this morning and it only took me two minutes to clean all the bugs off my bumper/mirrors.

I've only used Stoners, but it works well. The only precaution you need to take is that it doesn't play nice with some plastics. It can stain them pretty bad.

P21S Total Auto Wash. Spray it on, let it dwell for about 30 seconds, and the bugs and tar wipe clean off. Best thing about TAW is that it can be used for many other purposes as well.

I tried the Dodo Juice Tarmalade and wasn't impressed by it at all. 20 bucks for this product and it didn't even work well by any means........ I've never heard of Surf City Grime Remover, but if you guys say it works I will give it a try.

for bugs and tar that have been on there for a few days, the only thing that works is tarminator. tarminator still leaves some residue on the paint that i hit with clay to get a clean surface. tar and sap are no match for tarminator

I use my Pinnacle bug and Tar sponge and pull out the Tarminator if I have to.

Tarminator is no joke! I used it to take paint spray off of wheel wells after ARO and OPC both failed big time. After trying ARO and OPC I pulled out the clay and started claying the wells. After wasting a ton of time I decided there had to be a better way. Pulled out the Tarminator...Sprayed it on.... waited a few seconds.... and wiped off!
Kronos makes a point about its use on some plastics (per Stoners) but so far I haven't had any issue on any plastic I used it on. (Test spot first to be safe)

I use Stoner Tarminator on a regular basis, but wanted to try something good that wasn't an aerosol. I also use the Safe Scrub bug and tar pad which works well with just water and soap. Clay has worked best for me as of now.
