What brought you to AutoGeek?

Wanted to learn more about automotive detailing, this is a great forum,I have learned more than I ever thuoght I would know about detailing!!! Yes found this on GOOGLE also!!!:xyxthumbs:

Skybaby, and the people that treated me badly when I asked questions on the first detailing forum I found.

Found Autogeek on DetailCity back in 2004. They needed people to review the Pinnacle polishes when they first came out, and I volunteered. I had no idea they were less than 5 miles from my house...after doing my review and picking up a few orders after that, I was offered a job! :)

I still remember after the review I did, Meghan gave me a whole box of goodies including Pinnacle Souveran Paste. Some things never change!

I also stumbled across AG when on the internet looking for a site that could help me care for a car with dark paint and a light colored fabric interior.

I "Liked" AG's facebook page, kept seeing all these interesting topics, helpful hints etc being discussed and figured, might as well join and hopefully contribute to this community and there's always something to be learned.

I'm not being a smart ass but the Internet...and Google :props:
I'm a independent limo operator and need to keep my limo clean,so after using the average OTC products I still wasn't satisfied,so I google detailing and came up with a few names one being Auto Geek, which was very informative. In those days I knew nothing about cleaning ,correcting or polishing my paint,I thought prep mean washing before waxing.lol

Cool. I'm about 45 minutes north of you. Lehigh Valley area.
Having a nice shiny fleet says alot about ones business and im sure that helps promote your business

I found this site after watching "Two Guys Garage" and "My Classic Car" both on the SPEED channel.

I'm a member on foxbodyforum.com and I was searching thru some threads, low and behold I ended up on here.

I started getting into detailing 4 years ago with my old taurus. I wanted to learn more and I came across autopia. Didnt really post much there, just lurked.

I then wanted to buy some products and ended up over here. I like this forum better, so I stayed.

At the beginning of the summer of 2010, a friend and I just finished the body work and painting of my '77 vette. Being a DIY'er I wanted to learn how to wet sand and polish myself. So I started by asking people I know who have done a little of it and a coworker sent me the link to Autogeek. Read a bunch of articles and next thing I know I had my car wet sanded and was polishing it up with my new DeWalt rotary. And yes.... it was very nerve wrecking since the first car I ever wet sanded or machine polished with a rotary was my baby which I just finished up after a couple years of on-again, off-again work, but I just took my time. After that I was hooked and started detailing for family, friends, and a little beyond. Picked up a PC late last year, a Flex 3401 this summer, and a lot of products from Autogeek trying to figure out which ones work the best for me. My only regret... that I didn't find out where Autogeek was located until after I got back from a road trip to Palm Beach in August 2010. I didn't realize I drove right past it! Would have been nice to try and plan to attend one of Mike's classes. Next time!

I do like the forum when we talk about detailing and the products. The store for the prices and then I thought the service was outstanding. I actually stopped doing business I felt that the service has been slipping. I do realize that it is internet sales.

The amount of strait forward info from Mike and the forums. Then I get a warm welcome from fellow forum members. And to top it off Eric H really took care of me with my first order.
