I know that the Schmitt is a popular choice for hand washing, and I love mine. But what does everyone use for the top of large vehilces, or areas that a Schmitt can't reach?
Obvioulsy, the Montana Boar's hair brushes looked nice, but I'm not about to spend $70 on a brush. I'm leaning towards one of the Megs Versa Angle Brushes, specifically the wide body one since it's on sale for $10.

What do you all use? Im the MAN

I don't like to use any kind of brush on paint. On taller vehicles I still use my ShMitt or a mit. I just stand on something so I can reach the top.

Yup that is what I use on my SUV, would never use a brush....not after being exposed tot he ShMitt....ShMitt :righton:

On the SRX ... I went out and bought a ladder and wash it just like I do the rest. Two bucket, one mitt ... and then I blow it dry with leaf blower, and climb back up to final dry/qd it.

i uses a brush to wash my trucks but the brissels are reallt soft .not stiff at all

Sometimes when we place a wet brush in out hands our brain tells us to scrub. With a wash brush it should be light short motions and rinse the brush often.

I just use a chenille or micro mitt as I have a roof rack that blocks a large section and is hard to get the Shmitt into w/o it catching something and tearing.

I also climb on a step ladder, but not nearly as good as the above picture of Scott's. Where can a guy find that ladder? Could and would use the little shelf.

Yeah those 3 step latters work so good. You can still wash mitt the roofs of trucks with lifts and everything with the ladder.

Well I went out to Big Lots today after remembering they had some good deals from other people.

Got the Megs Wide Body Versa Angle Brush, Megs Tire Brush, and Megs interior detail brush (the one that adjusts the length of the bristels), also picked up a Mr. Clean wheel brush. This thing was incredibly soft and will work great for delicate wheels.
Got all this for $20.
