What bugs you most when detailing?

Gotta go with the swirls. Although the fact that I always have to detail outside in direct sunlight can be quiet aggravating.

For me it's the interior glass. With the extreme rake on newer windshilds and the requirement for contortionist limberness for the back window the glass causes me the most grief. Once you're through and put the car in the sun, "What the.....HOW did I miss that spot?"

i HATE when im buffing and then i slide over to the next panel and my extension cord is stuck under a tire!! AHH! I dont know how to prevent this other than just using a really big extension cord. o well. another thing is, my PC cord and my halogen cords are always getting tangled. i also hate when my back aches! haha! one other thing, removing road tar! now that sucks! its usually pretty nasty when i am cleaning out cupholders because of dried up/gooey pop spilled in there, its so gross i think i should use gloves.

Put down 4 tire rollers.......they make it impossible to catch the cords......

Droping stuff on the ground and cleaning the inside of my Lambo's windshield bug me the most. Extention cords coming unplugged is not far behind.

Of course, car is garage kept, and we even got some rain today. Out running some errands, and the car got dirty from the rain... so I cleaned it. :awesome:

Tomorrow I prep for a few injections on Wednesday morning at 6am, so I will be spending time inside watching baseball.

I just made that up to see if you would read it, Nick.....lol
Is it really raining there? We have hardly seen rain at all!!

Nozzel on arosel cans that plug up and there is a half of can product left. If the nozzel does work it spray a large stright stream instead of a mist. Eagle One Tire Spray, Rain X bug and tar protective. Seems like all the same nozzle manufacture.

Windshields can be a pain to get clean which is why I got this, Glass Master Pro Glass and Surface Cleaner I have yet to use it, but I think itll make things a lot easier.

Hose stuck under the tire? No problem, I use a device you slide under the wheel and prevents this..

Sorry.. nothing really bothers me.

Just curious, is the device you use to stop the hose from getting caught under a tire the one that is seen on the internet and mentioned in other posts on this thread? They are cuved plastic pieces, thinking of buying them. If yes, just curious how well they work? If no, what are you using? The hose getting caught is just a pain in the butt. I get so pissed sometimes I flick the hose in a feeble attempt to loosen it, to my chagrin the hose ends up hitting a portion of my car.....ahhh!

For those getting cord or hose stuck under tires.......Save one gallon milk jugs and cut so that you have about two inches on the bottom to slide under tire ( really hard to explain the cutting procedure)
If Nick can post a pic of what he bought you can get a good idea of how (shape) it needs to be cut.

voted for Extension cords unplugging, getting stuck under tires, etc.
Sometimes I wish water would just come out of nozzle, no hose. And PC would operate from a battery and still be powerful. Maybe it's just me.

Tire rollers are small litte rolllers that get put on the 4 tire corners and when the cord gets to it it doesn't snare the cord.........

I can handle the rain its the bird bombs i can't stand, after a long winter i decided to clean up my car the next morning i went to therapy for my shoulder at the clinic they have a few trees there where you have to pull in so anyways i'm thru with therapy i go home park my car in the garage i see white stuff on the hood it looked as if someone splashed my car with a gallon of paint all over the hood ,windsheild,both front fenders and splatter all on the front bumper i have never seen bird droppings like this before in my life i was like SOB i ended for the next 1/2 HR trying to remove the bombs

I know just how you feel JoeP!! Where I live the only place to park is under trees!! Every morning I do a "bird poop patrol" with MF and QD in hand! LOL
