What can i do about consumer fraud? RETRO SOLUTIONS SCAM

Does this company "sponsor" any forums? If so, I'd become a member and post your experience. If they sponsor a forum - it cost them money and they are hoping to gets sales out of it. If you post your poor experience - nobody on that forum will buy anything from them until the situation is resolved. Plus, others will crawl out of the wood work likely as well with their issues.

Somehow, I bet they will change their tune pretty fast.

On the other hand, if you just want to feel some satisfaction - wait until the hottest day of the summer and mail them a box of dog poop.

You are using too many words with this company. You need to remain steadfast and high-maintenance with them. You want what you want, period.... and only then will you support their effort to close the BBB incident as resolved. At that point you be quiet and let them respond. Believe me..... no one likes silence during these discussions and they will be compelled to respond. The BBB would list the complaint as resolved once you inform them but the fact it is on record with the BBB web site covers future buyers who do their research. I would call them again and restart the conversation as if the previous conversations never happened. Seriously, it defies logic but it may work.

I don't recommend the web site. They may be able to sue you from the state of their incorporation or in your state. Posting reviews on another web site that you do not own is less likely to be problematic for you.

Thats good info thank you. I just came up with an idea. On fiverr there are people that will have a group of people write a positive review on your yelp. I wonder if for 5 bucks they will do a negitive review lol.

They do they sponsor an RSX forum. Lol i have a pitbull that lays some large nukes in my lawn. Finally i could put it to some good use lol. I think ill deploy the comment on the RSX forum as my final hoo rah.

In regards to some neg comments about HID's not to start a debate but no i wasnt running projectors and people flashed me all the time. The lights were very bright..

Remember that a lot of people wont flash their brights even though you can still blind them. And all the other cars you have installed them in.

I bought some Xenon HID's and they are still kicking like the first day! My biggest advice is that they failed to inform you about the product that needed to be used!

This is really bad. You honestly don't think you blind the living crap out of every car you come by???

Well there have been a few more messages exchanged between myself and Retrosolutions over the BBB website and I finally threw in the towel... Im tired of going back and forth with this company and defending my self against their lies so i gave up. Here is my last message I sent them.

Your business practices are so flawed... You lie to me and tell me that there is dielectric grease found which voids the warranty when there wasn't. You tell me that you will only honor your warranty if I provide proof of a wiring harness but you didn't. You request I lie to the BBB. You make me wait a whole year before giving me the necessary warranty information which you will not honor. Do you sleep well at night knowing that you sell junk products under a high quality labels? Your metal cases don't compensate for the low quality kits you sell. In fact that might be the only thing of quality your company possesses. You would think, with so many competitor hid companies, freedom of speech, and internet forums out there, as a person, you would have a bit more integrity. Let me guess where this "manufacture" is located. Is it in china where i have no rights as a consumer? Your company has been through this issue before. You would think you would straighten up and change your ways to gain more business and keep your customers happy. But no, your main focus is the quick buck you scam off people who are just looking for a good quality HID kit. You see the customer as a dollar sign and nothing more. From one business owner to another you have no business owning a company. Time heals everything though, and maybe not now, but soon, you will have to file bankruptcy and close your door which would be the best thing for any one looking for a HID kit. The only people who would miss you, maybe, would be your friends, who i assume are your only source of income these days, on the RSX forum. You give a bad name to all internet vendors. You know you are scamming me. You know you sell junk and pass it off as high quality. But you don't care because you have ZERO integrity. Shame on you as a person and shame on Retrosolutions as a company. From this moment on when ever the word HID is said I will make sure to share my experience with Retrosolutions.

So keep your junk, you obviously need the money more then I do, theif. People need to be warned about Retrosolutions. No one should ever have to go through this for $300. So keep the money. You might soon need it to buy your self a meal.

Sincerely,

Brondon Drapeau

I can guess that those in 'their offices' are High Fiving each other and saying, "Well boys, we skated thru another one."

Reallllly a good example of poor business practice there if there ever was one.
