I've recently picked up a new client that loves black cars and has a ton of them. He told me in February he purchased 45 tags in total (cars, truck, boats, and trailers). I was going to his house this past Sunday to do his truck and his wife's denali. When I arrived I noticed one of his workers (feeds animals, cleans yard, trashman, etc.) washing the black denali. I approached him and told him I was here to do it and he said he was very sorry and would love to let me finish. He was just trying to help my client out since he was done w/ the yard. After he left I couldn't believe he washing techinque. I know see how someone can put such bad swirls in paint. Here are some pics for you enjoyment or torture.

AG should have it in the next few weeks, watch for a sale.

Indeed that will do it. I have to admit I've seen worse though.

:iagree: :iagree: Slap him in a face with that rag. He just wanted to get some hours...

did he use the same washmitt to wash the lawnmower just prior to the denali? lol

I see he's doing some heavy compounding there.

I especially like the choice of purple bathmat - much more abrasive than wool.

guys cut the lawn guy a break hes just tring to get shady some more money

I'm testing one now for a company...I like the clay better for my car but it is good for business if you can use it on other peoples cars without them seeing :p :p

I wouldn't RAG on the guy to hard everyone has used a bath towel once in there life to wash or dry a car. As for the mulch he should have to pay for the detail to that truck.

see, this is why we need a tool of the week thread

That makes me cry a little to see. But on the other hand that is how 90% of the people out there wash there cars and trucks. And that is also why god made detailers to help.
