I've been so tempted to buy the Griot's 3" polisher. It appears to be a quality machine and everyone that has one says they should have gotten it sooner.

Over there on the right, is that a Werner flat platform I see? I spotted a couple of guys using them here and they're available through Lowe's and would make those high areas so much easier to get at....

Bobby let me apologize for missing this, I don't know how because I get instant email updates. Yes it is the platform you and others described. Being a short guy at only 5'7" I needed something to help me reach the middle of the roof on most cars, I wanted something lightweight and featured a flow through design so I could wash cars without the fear of standing water. The Griot's unit is very nice but when they (Lowe's) put these on sale for $20, common sense prevailed.

I picked up one as well and yes on black friday at Lowe's you are usually "competing" with contractors picking up deals. You see them in teams going around with a list.

On Black Friday they cleaned up. I was there at 6:15am and was told one guy bought the entire pallet of 200 work platforms. Numerous painting crews wiped out the supply of $20 6' fiberglass stepladders. They said they were all gone within 10 minutes after opening. These guys descend like cloud of locusts!

Mrs. OT told me to do a garage make-over! Im getting a 12K BTU Split HVAC unit installed Friday. I ordered a bunch of Gladiator Prremeir Cabinets. These are welded units with a lifetime warranty. I also got some flooring made by Snap Lock that is remarkably similar to Race Deck. Flooring will arrive next week, Cabinets arrive in 2 or 3 weeks,

I made it to another Christmas. The wife went out of her way to surprise me this year. I received a ipad2 32g....wow it is so cool to do a thing called face talk with the grandkids.

What will they think of next. I remember years ago seeing in the movies people talking on phones that showed that. But that was on syfi movies..... I must be getting real old....

The best part was that my heart attack did not get me down and I was able to enjoy another year with the family,,, thank God...
