My parents left me some money and wife got me some cologne and a couple games. The special part was my son's Xmas. He is almost two, and the most special age for Xmas. Tickle Me Elmo Xtreme, Tricycle, Doodle, and many other toys. Back and forth between them it was like overload city. It truly is just as special to give versus get.

I hear you on that one! My son is going to be 2 in March and man did he make a haul this year! My father in law alone got him like $200 worth of stuff. We now have to find a place for all his stuf which includes several Little People sets, a train set, some dinosaurs, Tonka bulldozer and backhoe, and much more!

I got:
halogen work light
Wolfgang Yellow Pad
Wheel spoke brush (last two items from Autogeek!)
a couple CD's
Marvel Ultimate Alliance for PC
Day of Reckoning 2 for GC
$50 Sears GC
Tigers memorabilia

DVD's, tripod for my camera, money, clothes, polishes (not carried by AG), and then I bought myself a new wet/dry vac.

My sis and mother took my son to see the house where the movie"Christmas Story"was filmed.Someone bought the house and remodeled it to exactly the way it looked in the movie and turned it into a museum so to speak. They sell memorabilia from the era in the time period that the movie portrayed, yes including the leg lamp which my son received. My present was a can of original simoniz wax and a bar of lifeboy soap.If I can figure out how to post pictures I'll show it to you.:D
Since I couldn't figure out how to post pics I used the can of simoniz as my avatar.:D :(

My wife and I don't exchange gifts for Christmas either. We use the money to get things for the kids, parents, in-laws, and sisters. Gifts for our 2 boys took a large chunk of money, but it was great seeing their faces on Christmas morning. They weren't expecting what they got.
What I got was from parents, sister, and in-laws..........................
500W halogen worklight on tripod, from mother-in-law.
Armor-All Tire Foam, and AA Fierce Shine Foam, from my oldest son.
Harley Zippo lighter with engraving in the back "I love you dad", from my youngest son.
Restaurant gift certs from my in-laws.
DVD series on WWII from my wife's nephew.
Home Depot gift card to get my Ridgid wet/dry vac, from wife's nephew.
Polo shirts for work, from my parents.
Digital watch from my sister.
It was a wonderful Christmas, had by all.
