What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Yeah I usually say no but because it hasn't been corrected yet and is in pretty good shape I wasn't too worried about the wash BUT I didn't know they were going to dress the tires, now that I know what they do, no more carwash from them.

Yeah that is a bit odd that they dressed the tires for a quick complimentary wash. I bet most of their customers are thrilled haha.

Gave the Jaguar XE a wash today then detailed the engine bay. I used a combination of Meguiar's APC, Meguiar's Last Touch and 303 to bring some shine back.

Those strut tops really stood out as needing some attention.

I then directed some attention towards the Ranger. A wash for the first time in a month and gave it a coat of Reload.

In preparation for our tropical depression that is cruising through Houston and southeast Texas, I applied Pinnacle Glasscoat to the wife's X3 for the first time and applied another coat to my TLX. I've had it on my car for a month or so and has worked very well. I learned from the first time applying it, use very sparingly, a little goes a looooong way! I must say I put two coats on the shower glass 2-3 weeks ago and our hard water spot issue has improved dramatically, almost to the point of not having to use the squeegee after every shower...highly recommend to anyone.

Got to work and shook out my d/s floor mat, Mckee's fast interior detailer on all the seats, steering wheel and shiftknob and then treated the seats/steering wheel and shiftknob with 303 3 in 1 leather and finished with CG's Signature scent on the mats, now it's time to head into work

McKees fast interior is so good. Also might be the best scent in the auto detailing game.

Quick engine bay "detail" more of a wipe down. Sprayed whatever RW product I had in my pump sprayer to loosen up some dirt. Then sprayed Ech2o at QD strength into a towel and wiped down. Dressed with PERL.

Washed the exterior of my pick-up for a 16 hour road trip starting tomorrow morning. Mike Phillips was good enough to send me a BF product called Bug Blocker to apply to my trucks impact surfaces to run a test to see how it performs under extreme bug pressure. I will be driving 8 hrs each way up I-95 along the Fl. coast and up thru Ga. into Coastal Carolina. This is the middle of love bug season and will be COVERED in them.

Cant wait to see how it does when I go to wash them off
