What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

It is a cool 25 degrees outside so a bucket wash was out of the question. I did clean the Weathertechs with APC and rinsed them from the water spigot.

The inside of the garage is insulated but not heated. The wife's Buick got the treatment today. It was still a toasty 40 degrees inside which was good enough for a Wolfgang Uber rinseless wash.

I used to always use Alien Kleen and never removed that "rest foot" area. Then I used the WeatherTech cleaner and it came out, followed up with the protectant and they were "like new" again.

Quick waterless wash with Blackfire, and did a couple of spot corrections on the roof and hood where there were some random swirls/scratches. Ultimate Compound with a red foam Meguiar’s pad, then some D166 on a black pad and topped with UFF to match the rest of the car.

Only after pics, it would be hard to capture what was there bc it was only visible in certain light at an angle. Lol

Took possession of some "Ammo" for my special aerator. For some reason there's only ONE company out there that has developed a foaming waterless wash, why is this? I mean the concept is great because the foam breaks down and lifts the product away, like a "hoseless lift" if you will. This is a great thing for when you travel especially because your car gets really hammered while on the road, bugs, debris, road grime, etc but this just cleans it away even safer. The foam or "Froth" as it were breaks things down, lifts it away, thus making your cleaning easier and safer. There's also something in there that just evaporates away too, a very special product that also has a "winter booster" to add to the mix which aids in all the salt and muck, can't wait to try it with the "boost"

2019 is right around the corner, can and will somebody produce a product like this

Had some time this evening with my wife and daughter away for a bit to head to the garage and do "something". I first sprayed some Wurth fresh scent in the car, forgot I had the stuff, really like it F R E S H

I then decided to apply a coat of Sonax wheel shield to my rims. Watched a video for this on a channel I greatly respect, alot of people do and he didn't like it. Myself on the other hand have had nothing but great luck with it, so it motivated me to apply a coat to my very clean wheels. I then added a 3rd coat of TW Endura tire coating. I will say this coat went on better, I may have had some still on the applicator from last night but only squeezed a couple sections and topped off all 4 tires, along with my front lip.

So I will be washing up mamas ride and claying. Really want to use BM but I cannot due to it being 20s here now. Might have to invest in a heater for the garage

You must be a certified installer which I am so I have access. 🧐

Most big name coating distributors are very tight on who they allow to install because one F up and it can become pricey to fix.

I had a customer pay $3500 to install cermaic pro installed on his truck. 24 hours later and not following directions he completely f it up and we had to refix it so you can only imagine trying to install it not following directions. A lot of wet sanding

Maybe cut back on that BBQ you’re always showing pics of and you wouldn’t have to reFRESH the car...:poke:

;) :) :o

Garage was 47 degrees for the rinseless.
I used Blackfire Si02 as a drying aid, yeah this isn't going to work the way I want.
To much dinkin around, so I ordered some Echo to make the blue juice drying aid with Reload.

Just going for an economical solution. I already know Hyperseal and Optiseal work superb.
Eventually I will have the cars coated with CQUK instead of Glosscoat and want to get used to CarPro products.
Who knows, by then Optimum might bring out a new improved coating.

The wife's car was run through the carwash at Speedway on Friday but I knew it wasn't clean, so I did a Tri-Nova WW to it. I foamed the tires, wheels and wells down and scrubbed the tires and wheels down and rinsed and let them air dry, then did the WW. I have (5) dirty azz edgeless mf towels from this wash, remember it was just "washed" on Friday. I will dress the tires with a TBT product later but now it's her turn to work on HER car, namely the interior vacuuming.

The car is nearing 200K, at about 199.3K right now!

So I went down to the garage and applied TW Endura tire coating to the D/S and I used Griot's Garage Black Shine tire gel on the P/S. I also applied Tri-Nova windshield repellant to all external glass. This stuff works great, underrated product. Btw Tri-Nova is sold through here and before anyone gets mad about this posted, you'll see a major brand sold here at AG and it's because it's the parent company of THAT brand.

"...the more you know!"

Have a great customer that I have on an 8 week maintenance plan for 4 of his rides and every 6 weeks on 2 others. I did 2 yesterday and 2 today. He’s hella cool and lets me do whatever I feel each vehicle needs.
