Yeah those spray on rinse off products don't like to be applyied in the sun. It could be possible with Sonax Spray and Seal though. If you are able to cool of the panel with water first. And apply panel by panel or half a panel. Work in small sections. It's thick to be a spray on rinse off product. So it maybe not dry so fast as a Sio2 based one. And maybe dry the panel after application so you don't have leaved some product left. Or be very thorough when rinsing it off. This is one thing I do either way to be very thorough when rinsing it off. Then it's up to the temperature you have. If you risk to let the water left after rinsing to dry on the car.
I have not tested this with Spray and Seal. But there are options to apply this SORO products. The benefit is a more even coverage and less product and accually a little longer durability from it. The downside is that it takes a little longer time to apply it. With the method I used when applyied Gyeon Wet Coat it don't take much more time. I used a damped mf applicator sponge and sprayed 2-3 sprays high on the panel. Spread the product out on the panel with just one pass. And rinse off directly after this and move on to the next panel. Apex detailing chanel use a method with Meguiars new Ceramic Wax. Where he use a damped foam applicator and spread it out like a sealant on dry paint. And work an 2×2 section and buff it off with a mf towel. I have seen Forensic Detailing Chanel do it this way too with Wet Coat and a damped mf applicator sponge. It seems like the little water in the damped or just so it's not dripping is enough to activate the bonding reaction from these products. Think that Meguiars recommend to dry the car instead of rinsing it off when doing the first application of Ceramic Wax.
Then I totaly understand if you apply it on a customers car you don't want to do different methods than what says on the bottle. And this goes with applying it in the sun too. I have seen some horrific applications gone wrong. Where they left it on too long when they have done larger area than a panel and some that has forgotten to rinse it off. The high spots they got on their cars covered the whole area where they did not rinse it off or forgot it. And the PITA to polishing it off didn't seem fun at all to do LOL. I got a problem when my old PW didn't start when I was going to rinse 1 panel off. Man the panic I got LOL. Fast switched to the hose nozzle and rinse it off. It where summer and I was working in the shade. Think I was very close to it where starting to be high spots. It where a little more difficult to rinsing it off. But no high spots puuh. So don't try to strech the area you spraying it on to. The hassle to get the high spots off is not worth it. And look out if it's windy when you apply it and see if you get overspray from spraying it on. I rinse a around the panel I apply to so I'm certain to get all of the product off. Know it seems like it's hard to apply LOL. But if you have the flow it's fast and easy to apply and safe. And also to reapply it is so easy and fast. Then 2-3 months of solid protection it's an easy way to maintain it. Have heard with the other methods to apply it you can get 4-6 months out of it. I will be testing the no rinse method when I'm able to
