What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Did a 2 bucket wash with Griot's Wash & Coat. First time using it. Not very much cleaning power but it did add nice beading.

The beading of this product is amazingI used it for the first time on a plow truck with ZERO protection on it and it then looked like I applied an actual product on it, highly recommended

So I just finished up the FNW

Tonights episode brings us a new player...Feynlad Rinseless Wash. I did a RW using 5 plush, edgeless mf towels and the 1000 ML Kwazzer for pre-treating. The car was 2 days dusty/pollinated so a good test for this new for me product. As I pre-treated the windshield and roof I could see it cleaning very well (correct ratio this time around) I went to dry each section and it dried VERY well but I'm sure that's because my coat of Gyeon Wax is 2 days old. I'm pretty happy with this product and I found out their HQ is about 20 minutes away from me.

Next up was the tire/wheel cleaning and Brake Buster was called into duty. It's amazing how much dust/pollen was on the tires themselves. Once scrubbed and rinsed I sprayed Meg's HCW @4:1 on the rims, let sit for about 3 minutes and rinsed away and beads were left behind. I then dried the hoops w/ my mini Master Blaster and applied Hydrosilex Slick to the tires (always changing it up).

I then did a little vac to the interior and sprayed CG's Signature scent to the carpeted mats. To finish I'm running a small load of mf towels using TRC Rags to Riches mf towel detergent. This is the first time in FOREVER I've used something other than 3D Towel Kleen, looking forward to seeing how this product works, stay "tuned"

Yeah, you can see that when you rinse it off. Just not sure if I'll prefer it over a different wash and then ceramic speed shine.

It's a nice product to use if it's just a couple days dusty and you wanna do a foam/'dwell/rinse or after a 2BM and you wanna give it a boost

I polished the A, B and C pillars on the Ford Explorer. I finished them with CQuartz DLux.

What did you polish them with, UD?

Well I started with the old bottle of Megs Ultimate until the bottle exploded. I ended up using 3D Polish+ with an LC white pad on my GG3. I finished it up with CQuartz DLux.

That's the funny thing, we all love showing off our rides, and skills, but the hard thing is taking the shots without our ugly mugs reflecting in the gloss we just created.

I'd be banned for life if I took a shot of Davy's B pillar. :D

Inspired by Bob's post earlier, I decided to do something about protecting the underside of the hood. The mud that sprays on the underside of hood of the FJ when I take it off road, is usually baked on before I can get anywhere that I can spray it off, I never thought of coating it with something. First I needed to clean it, normal cleaning products don't work, and it's not clear coated, so I just went straight at it with some Dodo Juice Lime Prime. I used a small foam hand applicator for the tight areas, and a foam ball, which is now wrecked, for the flat bits. I then coated it with 303 touchless sealant. While I was there, I sprayed some ONR on almost everything, attacked it with a stiff brush, dried it all, then put some 303 Aerospace Protectant on everything black. Watched my car for the first time in in 3 weeks...the weather here hasn't been good....I used WF uber sio2 car wash....then toped it with BF sio2 sealant

Maybe your car would be taken care of better if you did more than WATCH it. Sorry but I couldn’t help it. Car is looking good and I really like the Uber SiO2 Rinseless.

So I had to run out earlier today and it was a very light rain, so I just finished a wash. I grabbed my CG's foam gun and added Griot's Garage Ceramic wash and coat and went outside. I first foamed the rims with Brake Buster and then foamed down the ES and let it sit. I then sprayed everything down and finally used free flowing water to help move the beads. After drying the car, jams and tires/wheels I open the hood. I dried off the water there and used some Feynlab leftover from last nights wash to do some cleaning under there, along with my barrel brush. The nice thing about staying ontop of your engine bay is that it doesn't take much make it nice

The Weather Bug said 0% precip... By the time I was done under the hood it was a very light sprinkle and hopefully it's nothing. Either way, the car will be ready for C&C tomorrow morning

First paint correction with my new supa beast. Test vehicle...wifes jeep. Had some micro marring due to not being polished in 2 years. Process: wash, iron decon, nanoskin mitt. Lake country white hybrid force pads, menzerna 3500. Wax/grease remover, then applied si02 silica spray sealant. Plastics hit with solutions finish.
