What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

So was it you that also uses 3-in-1 on the grill? If so, what’s your list of household goods protected with 3-in-1? :)

That is Bosko I just use it on my dog

The Qashqai got rain spotted during the week, so time for a wash. 2B with Reset, my new favourite, Bowden's Wheely Clean on the wheels, the sun came back out, so moved it back into the garage to dry using After Glow.

Last pic, nice clean door jams, but how do you keep it that clean when it's used to transport little mess makers? Easy, this is a Great Grandmother's car, they don't ride in more than once a week, I have a whole week to clean up whatever mess they make. Part 2:

The cloud cover reappeared, so I decided to wash the FJ. I foamed it with Carpro Lift first, I couldn't give it any dwell time as it was 33C (92F), high humidity and windy this afternoon. But it worked well, you can see that in how clean my rinse bucket was at the end. Then 2B wash with Reset, I noticed during this part I missed a spot when applying CMX a couple of weeks ago. So I decided to dry it using CMX as a drying aid, it says on the bottle it can be applied on wet or dry paint, it worked quite well, that's both cars done, now for break watching us beat the Poms in the cricket.View attachment 74822View attachment 74823View attachment 74824View attachment 74825View attachment 74826

I’ve been using Gyeon Paint Prep and OPT Paint Prep for cleaning our electrical stove among other things. Both work very well. I grabbed a gallon of the OPT for $32. Some even use these for interior cleaning.

It’s 35 degrees and cloudy. It’s a perfect day for a rinseless wash on the truck and the rental. The rental got a treatment of Renny Doyle Bead Maker. I heard that it’s longevity is suspect. Let’s see.

It's sunny and 35 here today but I'm working in the shade The ES was very dirty and just felt like doing a WW this time, so I did.

I used N914 made up as a WW and it always does a great job! I used 6 DPC plush, edgeless microfiber towels and 1 designated mf towel to clean the tires/wheels/wells. It came out great and since I applied TW Endura tire coating last week I decided to NOT top it (I've got the new TWHS graphene tire dressing coming tomorrow). I also wiped down the door jams too.

I'm now running a load of mf towels with Towel Kleen and baking soda

Just cleaned but got lightly rained on. I tried this a while back as a waterless and was slick and glossy.

Tried it as a rinseless today. Reminds of if Uber and N-914 had a baby. I didn’t like uber because application felt “greasy”. 914 feels like your wiping with water. This stuff felt a good in between.

Cleaned the interior of moms 7 year old Rav4. Adam’s interior WD for dash and seats. P&S express interior cleaner on panels.

Both these products are amazing. Adam’s IQD>Meg’s IQD. I don’t say that lightly as i’ve used bottles and bottles of that stuff.

Tried the new rigid today. Perfect for cars. Light weight and could reach both sided from driver side.

I know what you mean about 914, it's clear basically but I've only ever used it as a WW and make a gallon at a time but add 2 ounces to a gallon of distilled and it's cleaned VERY well for me. Now when making a gallon of Feynlab as a WW I follow the directions to the letter, it has a thicker consistency and is pretty strong

I always loved Uber but I kinda know what you mean but that one I only used as a RW or base product for my "FrankenDetailer", or Duragloss RW, both excellent choices for RW or base for FD

His daughter would like his car so much more like that. :) I’d say his car might be old enough for a new paint job by the time she’s driving but his car will still look like it came off the showroom floor.

I started headlight restoration on my Cadillac. I didn’t like the way this light was starting to look.

Cricket was good back in the 90s when they weren't changing players every week.

It's all good, I showed her the pic and she ran to the window to see the car and she said "it's not pink, it's still blue!'. We had a good laugh about it, thanks for creating a memory for us Bosko
