What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

What kind of car?

Another Mazda, most likely. Probably a CX-30 or a CX-5 if she doesn't get that. She has a 2014 3 Sedan now which is still in good shape and her commute is like 1.5 miles so she doesn't even have to do emissions testing on it anymore. She's making the decision very slowly but I know some day, she'll just decide to do it.

I cleaned the last door with Express, brushes, and towels and let it dry in the sun

It’s only 38 but it dried in minutes and I had to turn the car around to apply 303 because it was flashing so fast

I got 2 coats on and wiped down and turned the car back into the sun

Next was vacuuming the rear end out and getting a start on the rear mat

I went old school with a brush and towels

Then I tried my new Ninja scrubbers

My steering wheel was already clean, just ask me

I went over it with a white cotton washcloth and Express at 1:1 just to prove a point

That’s all I got off of it

Then I used this with the same product

This is after just going over the 5-6” section I did with the washcloth

Man, wish I knew about these a long time ago

I feel like I should go back over the dash and door vinyl and stuff with one of these

Nah...

This makes me want to institute a white glove policy inside my vehicle. Well, this and the piano black/behind the door handle scratches...

I hear that

The fibers in that scrubber are amazing, whatever the science is behind them

I had "deep cleaned" the steering wheel last week with an interior brush and Express at 1:1

I used 2-3 microfibers to wipe it down after agitating with the brush

They didn't get dirty, just damp from all the suds

Obviously agitating product with a wimpy little brush does almost nothing at all

I have some of their star scrubbers and also recently tried their tire applicators with the barrier layer. I really liked the tire applicators. I haven't tried the star scrubbers yet but those were intended only for those odd spaces inside. Might need to try them all over instead.

Well I couldn’t leave well enough alone

I went out and here is a vinyl armrest I cleaned and dressed with 303 a couple of days ago

I hit it again with Express and my brush

That’s mostly just weird lighting

I hit it with the scrubber and it only pulled up a tiny bit

I guess vinyl just doesn’t absorb crap as deep as leather plus I don’t have my grubby mitts on it constantly

I would. I'm using the original and will use Evo next year or whenever this one dies. It's too easy and works extremely well from everything I read about it. Water behavior is awesome. Eliminated my urge to search for the ultimate spray sealant. It's just as easy to apply so I see no reason not to use it.

Took you long enough. Now we just gotta get you on the Cosmic train to top it. Looks phenomenal.

Next time a before on that steering wheel. Can’t believe how dirty they get.

That wheel looks new.

Yeah, my bad, but honestly it LOOKED clean, maybe a bit shiny but not bad

I am curious to see how it feels later on after drying out

Hoping the tacky feeling went away

Thanks again for steering me towards the product!!!

Not sure why I was so hesitant on using it from the start.

I need to get better at polishing though because I still noticed some swirl marks lol. Still looks great though and I'm happy with how it came out. :)

Damn Chilly. You're nasty. :D

Great job though. That vehicle looks like new now that you've brought your expertise to bear. Expertise is right since you're not even working with your full arsenal.

Hey, just cause a guy is coordinated enough to pick his nose and drive at the same time doesn't mean you can rip on him...

Plus yeah, working without my full arsenal or a full deck...

:help:

You're referring to PA Cosmic Spritz over CanCoat? How often would you apply Cosmic Spritz? Anything else "needed"? :)

I would actually order High Gloss if I had a coating underneath… higher concentration of tio2. Cosmic has more Sio2.

I do Cosmic every 2-3 months would do the same with High Gloss.

I like SuperSport but will probably coat and top with SS. Use spray and rinse products in winter.

My next order will be 200ml high gloss, 200ml gold zirkon and 1000ml of presto detailer.
