Your getting some use out of that thing huh![]()
Putting it thru its paces. Maybe a wash&coat test next.

First “touch” wash of the season.
Foamed with Griot’s surface wash, washed with HyperWash, and then a quick coat of OCW. (Spray).
Wheels were in need of some love after the tough winter, so after the wash they got hit with Griot’s FCC with a drill and foam polishing cones.
Tires scrubbed and then hit with DG253.
She’s 10 years old next month! :0

Could you imagine living with Gloss black wheels during ownership of a car...any carThe wheels on the rental have been neglected and I had enough of them, especially after a trip to a limestone plant. Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner cleaned the tires and Griots heavy duty wheel cleaner cleaned the wheels. The tires were finished with Adam’s tire armor.

Chrome is alot easier than Gloss black, plus the style isn't washed out like it is w/ Gloss blackI’m like that about my chrome wheels, but I love them.

You think? I always thought the gloss blacks were a bit more lenient since they’re black, so even if they’re a little dirty they’re still going to be black.
No pics today. Bilt Hamber 1:30 in a Kwazar Alkaline foam pumpsprayer and the Kärcher steamer and wiped with Carpro Ech2o. All door jambs and the rear hatch. Cleaning up after the winter months![]()
Will see how my back is today. If I'm able to do the engine compartment. Have the exhaust tips on the Kia cee'd GT-line to be doing as well. Then I think I will wait a couple of weeks more. And clean the undercarrige of the cars. Saw a domestic detailer use the steamer on the brake parts and wheel house. That seems like another use for it

I would actually prefer the chrome over the gloss black. The black shows all of the dirt and the dirt is always brown. The only way to clean them properly is with Griots Wheel Cleaner and heavy rubbing.
Probably carbon/ceramic padsI wouldn’t trade chrome for anything. Especially when you’ve got low dust brakes like I currently have.
I don’t know which kind they are, but if I ever need to replace them I’ll be sure to ask for the same kind because there’s virtually no brake dust ever.
Probably carbon/ceramic pads
