Well I'm not sure what they're basing that off of but once applied it's dry to the touch, in a short amount of time and it's kinda like their old product that was that black dye product, thankfully this isn't a dye.Am I reading this right (below, from their website)? Is it trying to tell me if I continuously use the bottle I'll have a year of protection? I don't doubt your opinion (respect it heavily in fact) but this is certainly an interesting way to define durability. I can probably get 20-25yrs out of their graphene paste wax if we're assessing durability this way
1 year of shine & protection – one bottle will provide multiple applications to maintain that high gloss shine & protection through all the seasons

Your correct on all points, didn't know what that blue stuff was but I know this, it didn't turn my tires blown/tarnish like Optimum tire coating didIf it's a typical acrylic coating, IMO there is no blue tint mixed in, that blue appearance after you put it on is something to do with the curing process or just refraction.
EDIT: I mean, I think even the old black TW stuff turns blue like that after you put it on, until it dries. Eldo will confirm or tell me I'm crazy.

No but I tried on 3 different tires and they all turned that color, I'm sure it was a bad batch, I threw it awayWas that these same tires?

So far I don't see any drawbacks here FWIWI really don't mind too much having to routinely reapply dressings. Coatings seem to have too many drawbacks to me. Maybe things will change with any product advancements in the future.

You could put some cardboard between them, or buy those overpriced tire covers.
They have some cheap ones on Amazon for $29-$33 for a set of 4. They have the tire rack ones on sale right now, $40-50, funny the ones without the tire rack logo are more expensive, I guess they give you credit for advertising for them.
I bought the tirerack ones years ago. The branded ones were cheaper then too. They are really sturdy, quality covers. I bought a few sets, all still like new.
I don't think they had the blank ones when I bought mine, that was probably 15 years ago.
