What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I should note that ADS, by accounts, was dragged kicking and screaming into the rinseless market, one that Bradley didn't see the point of, initially.

I guess by way of due diligence, I think it was EC Details in his review of Hero, recounting his discussions and beta testing, that mentioned that ADS initially wasn't interested in making a rinseless product.
I actually watched their rinseless video a couple months back because someone linked it and yeah, if that was Bradley, he was quite up front about their reluctance to get into that market

So I emailed Bradley and literally within minutes I got a very polite and personal reply

ADS is very interested in making this right and making me happy so huge kudos for that

I have a dialogue going and I have no doubt things will work out in the end

That in itself goes a long long way in providing customer satisfaction
Curious as to how he'll "make it right" but either way he's all over it

Yes it is, I used and liked the 1 generation, but haven't tried the 3rd generation yet so no clue about "lubricity" etc

Cleaned my nearly one year old Weather Tech mats with Meguiars D110. I then treated them with Koch Chemie Gummifix Guf.

Thanks! The Koch Chemie Guff has worked out great.
What does that stuff smell like? It seems to me Klasse (not our member Klasse Act, the detailing product company Klasse) used to have a non-silicone dressing like that, but it smelled like mineral spirits. I have a bottle of it (the Klasse) somewhere but I'm too lazy to go find it.

Smells kinda alcohol like for sure.

Post a pic, I've never seen that product...ever

Definitely an alcohol type smell. It does dissipate rather quickly though.

There is a new bottle of Hero inbound by next day air, and Bradley would like the old partial bottle returned so they can check it out

I actually have 2 bottles, one purchased from Amazon, which is the one I have been trying out, and another bottle I got direct from ADS when I ordered the 6 essential ADS products as suggested by @DFB

One bottle was the milky colored ones they were using when they ran out of the gray frosted bottles they normally use, not that that matters but it could indicate different batches

Regardless, Bradley sent a prepaid label for me to return the partial bottle so I will do that, probably after testing the second bottle as well

He is doing everything a person could ask to resolve my situation

There is very little on Earth that pisses me off more than websites that have a "contact us" form that NEVER gets responded to when you have a question, complaint, etc

I think 95% of the time this is because all their focus is on social media lines of communication and if you don't contact them on FaceBook or the equivalent you simply aren't going to reach them

I don't do social media, other than this and one other totally non related forum

So when someone contacts me just minutes after filling out that contact form, after their normal business hours, they get my attention as someone who truly cares about their business and their customer relations

Wow, never seen that, definitely before I became Klasse Act

They don't seem to have it here at AG anymore (if they ever did) but they have it at AutoForge (on sale right now). It seems to me last time I dug into this it appeared that PBMG had acquired the US distribution rights to Klasse (IIRC the address for Klasse USA had changed from San Francisco to Stuart, FL), but perhaps it is Mr. McKee that owns the rights as they have all 3 Klasse products at AF and only KAIO here at Autogeek.

From Big Dave
I decided to test out our new Shark vacuum on the FJs interior. We went away from the stick vac this time, they're too expensive for what you get. After the vacuuming I gave the plastic floors and rubber mats a scrub with ONR, I even removed the muddy paw prints from the back. I really like the handle on the Shark's head, makes it very easy to get it under seats and in tight spaces without bashing my fingers.PSX_20241024_173323.jpgPSX_20241024_173448.jpgPSX_20241024_173648.jpg
