I got an email from AG stating I had reward points...and I also got the same thing from Autopia-CarCare...except they closed the Autopia-CarCare store. Interesting marketing plan though--seems to be working, at least in Chicago

Brought the Michelin X-Ice's/stock rims up from the garage to put into the back of the Cruze but first a simple spray and wipe. For this I used my Marolex sprayer with Bilt-Hamber Surfex @3:1. In the morning I'll spray the faces with "something"

So the 3 season set-up is off the EN and I, or should say WE, have just finished the coating process
I started with the Bilt-Hamber Surfex @3:1 to clean both sidewalls, barrels, spokes and wheel faces. I mean they were fairly clean coming off of the EN, so clean up was straight forward
Next was prepping the surface for coating and for that I finished off my Gyeon coating prep, very enjoyable to do...next
I finished up by using up my bottle of ADS Quartz Coating and literally had just enough too! Although not a wheel coating I'm sure it will work just the same on my clearcoated KN wheels
The tires & wheels will stay up here to properly cure, then will receive a final coat of ADS Ceramic Sealant to aid in curing and as a bonus coat

I took them to the new Belle Tire near my work, g/f's Cruze got a rotation and balance (balance was perfect, so no charge) so I just threw my winters in the back and we knocked it out together. I'll say this though, getting OEM 19's w/ tires on them up some stairs is a good workout

Really nice day out. So, truck got its weekly Maintenace wash. Finished with flex wax as the rinse off wax. Due for PA inspection by the end of the month.

Took out the carpeted N mats, vac'd out the interior, sprayed some Griot's Garage Stinky Be Gone leather scent and installed the WeatherTechs...winterization is now complete, well other than getting the Motul 5w40 changed out

First wash on buick in idk how long... a month? Or more? Cant rememeber. Car was so dirty, water behavor was dead.
Did went heavy on the decon. Pretreat with primus 2.0 1:10 in ik multi. Foamed primus 2.0, sidero 1:4 in ik multi followed by a bucket wash of purifica. Followed by application of ads ceramic spray sealant. Ads tire+ on the tires.

Then washed the one that was sitting since last Spring. Was gonna wash ‘aggressively’, panel wipe it & hit it w CanCoat or Over Coat Ceramic but it was beading/sheeting so well that I just washed & dried.

After a trip to Monument Valley, the Lincoln needed some TLC. Wash, blow the exterior, vac, and wipe down the interior. @Eldorado2k I even cleaned the windshield!

Ceiling is 10’ 6” and fortunately we have tiny cars. Cayman (50”) is parked under Civic in Summer (54” height) and Corvette in Winter (48”). I think the general calculation is car A height + car B height + 10” for ramp thickness & extra height needed to ensure you can ride above top lock and then lower to rest on lock.
Other items to consider are 4” minimum garage slab thickness, 20A electrical for 110/120. Also needed to go with side mount garage opener and hi-lift tracks. No drain in garage so it slopes down toward exit 4” over the run of 20 ft but not an issue.
I could likely raise Corvette another 6” or so with no issues but no need.
All in including garage opener work, I think it was around $7500. We were paying $450 a month for 15’x45’ storage so lift kinda ‘pays for itself’ over 2 years.

I have 8 ft ceilings in my garage.which kind of limits me. But I have done a lot of mechanical work on our cars so I got the best thing for my situation. It's called a Kwik Lift and has been great for me. When not used as a lift it collapses the floor and I drive my Chevelle on it and park on it.

So we are getting down to it. Today is the nicest weather day this week. Snow flurries in a couple days.
Today I took the Chevelle and filled it up with high test and added some Stabil. When I got home I did a rinseless wash with Duragloss 932 and used TEC 582 as a drying aid. Also applied that to the wheels.
Didn’t clean or dress the tires as it will most likely just sit covered in the garage for several months and then first thing will probably be another wash. I’ll do the tires then.

It was kinda a surprise that it all would fit; never much thought about it until I had to change a lightbulb and needed a taller ladder than previous residence…which got the wheels turning
Still not as convenient as w long driveway with space to widen which we did at previous house.
Was nice in that you could get any one of 4 cars out of driveway without needing to move anything else. Didn’t work out that way when we moved from NE Ohio to Central OH in 1991.
Oh well…changing oil is much easier now. Kwik-Lifts are handy though; jacking cars up & messing with jack stands is never fun!

It's been rainy and nasty since Sunday, so the EN was in desperate need of a good RW and since I used Griot's Garage Ceramic Rinseless & Labocosmetica Idrosave the last 2 RW's it was time to clean and level it out...Feynlab RW v3 to the rescue

Even though the ADS Quartz Coating has great self-cleaning ability the EN didn't "look" dirty, other than the flat, lower sections of the side skirt...BUT the rinse bucket tells a different story! PROOF why Feynlab RW v3 is THEE best cleaning RW and I can't see ANYTHING beating it
Btw, I'll be adding "something" to the Michelin X-Ice's because they've been stored a while and I've got no idea what was last applied to them, probably ADS Tire+
