Reminds me of a guy I worked with back in the 90s, he bought a new Hyundai and actually bought the Ming paint protection package, I don't know if you had that brand over there. About 5 years after he bought it, he got caught in a hail storm with it, the roof and hood were very dimpled. Insurance covered the repairs, but he couldn't get them to cover the reapplication of the paint protection, he was very angry, he wouldn't listen to reason, after 5 years that protection was well gone, it was probably gone after less than 1 year, he never washed it, he never waxed it, he said the Ming booklet said he didn't have to. He was even going to sue them, but he couldn't afford a lawyer.Bingo!
• I coated the car originally when it was a week old (1st coating paid for by customer/daddy)
• Less than a year later she ran into someone (2nd coating covered by her (daddy's) insurance)
• A couple of months ago someone ran into her (3rd coating paid for by the other drivers insurance)
========
I make a point of telling the customer on the front end
"if you are ever involved in a accident (God forbid) don't forget to add the ceramic coating to your claim"
It's also the very last thing that I remind them of when the service is rendered
I can't tell you how many times this has happened, but IT'S A BUNCH!!
My customers always appreciate this. It usually makes the whole ordeal a little more bearable
I typically have to deal with the insurance company, but that's never a big deal (except USAA...have to fight with those rat bastards EVERY TIME!!)
Because my prices are so much better than most others (and I am a reputable business) I've developed a relationship with a local appraiser. That has led to even more jobs
Thanks for playing along with my Riddle. I knew we had some smart members here that would figure this out

I didn't see your post, I put the riddle to the back of my brain after my first failed attempt, but it made me think of the dude I worked with and his failed attempt to get dealer paint protection reapplied. Does it help that I thought it a day ahead of you because of timezone differences.BIG DAVE TRYIN TO STEAL MY THUNDA!!!![]()

OK good... I'm not the only one who uses the bathtub for such purposes.So I got home and decided to spruce up the interior of the EN a bit. First thing I did was take out the front WeatherTechs and put them in the bathtub and foam them with some Surfex @3:1 and let them sit. Next was a vac of the interior, followed up with cleaning the inner windshield with TWHS glass cleaner. Moving onto the Alcantera bits, for this I used ADS Pilot per Bradley's advice. I used my Colourlock brush to lightly scrub it in, followed up with a microfiber towel to level it out, came out great and damn that stuff smells FRESH! Up next was ADS Pilot sprayed on my scrub Ninja for the steering wheel and 3D Wango Mango interior scent while the front WeatherTechs were out. Speaking of them I came inside and scrubbed them down with my brand new Mother's tire & wheel brush, now their outside drying
Time to walk over and pick up my daughter from school, it's all about time management

Soft scrubOK good... I'm not the only one who uses the bathtub for such purposes.
However, I've definitely stained the tub with what is likely road grime and grease? Any secret to removing that from the tub?

Pure speculation, but is that an Audi?
