Of course, trust the science!I don't know about you fellers, but mine goes faster when it's clean.![]()
Did MythBusters do a test on that?Of course, trust the science!![]()
Can’t see the video in the US. Is host the one with the golf ball dimple car?Did MythBusters do a test on that?
Of course they did.
Yeah it starts off with the myth that a dirty car uses less fuel than a clean one, then they put the golf ball dimples to the test. Even though I've seen it a few times already, I'll watch it again today. Can’t see the video in the US. Is host the one with the golf ball dimple car?
I just finished watching it, the car was a Ford Contour/Mondeo. The test was conducted over 5 X 1 mile runs at 65mph for each condition. Can’t see the video in the US. Is host the one with the golf ball dimple car?

It does OK w Michelin All-Seasons; low ride height is the biggest issue if much snow falls. Could do better w dedicated winter tires but nobody makes ‘em in the 20” sizes that would fit existing wheels. 18” or 19” narrower would be ideal but don’t wanna buy another set of rims/tires.I see a lot of Porsches pulling year round duty. There is one similar colored (cabriolet) that looks similar to your before that’s parked in the lot at work from time to time. Pretty bad ass seeing those cars in the winter. But I even feel good FOR you seeing the results. Beautiful!

If lotto hits someday I would think a Carrera 4S with winter wheels & tires would be killer winter car.
If lotto hits I'd suggest winters in the Carribean instead of winter tires. If lotto hits someday I would think a Carrera 4S with winter wheels & tires would be killer winter car.

Tire mfgs are missing out here![]()
Not that I’ve found. Drop down to 19” wheels and a few options but 20” stock sizes, no joy.
Yeah, probably a better option!

.Klasse,
I have to say that is an eye catching/ attention getting blue but think I prefer the color of your car.
Hats off to you for taking the time to teach them something very useful and them for having the desire to learn something new.
