completely fair. I only think about beads as a cheap alternative to Gyeon wet coat. Something I can protect the more annoying areas like the front grill and topping up wheel protection. To clarify, I wouldn't say there is anything wrong with Beads, just that it doesn't really have an advantage over similar products.
That philosophy I apply to any potential new brand purchases. Usually, I will focus on the signature products, those that present a point of difference over the competitors, or different to what I already have. Personally, I think there is more variation between brands when assessing soaps, interior detailers, rinse-less products, spray sealants, drying aids, and tyre dressings. That's why I don't have several different APC's, glass cleaners, bug removers, tyre cleaners......................they are mostly universal.
I agree with soaps being a good indicator of a brand, as well as their tire dressings. The drying aid, is also a big one for me. I've found less difference between interior detailers than with things like leather cleaenr. Niche products like glass cleaners with protection, drying aides, and reset soaps seem to differentiate things the most for me. If your Glass cleaner + protectant makes leaves a silicon line where my wipers stop, its not a good sign.
