Last night I gave the SS a quick rinseless wash so I could see if I received any damage from this and many others like it that fell from the sky yesterday afternoon.

Nope! No damage.

This morning I drove in the rain to go get the tires rotated and an oil change. Tomorrow morning she’ll get another rinseless wash. The wife’s Beast though will get a real bath. That thing is nasty right now.

Well, Tuesday eve I detailed the interior. Weds eve I washed and waxed. Still have to do the outside glass, wheels and tires. I'm too out of shape to do it all in one day :laughing:

Gotta love 68* temps in Ohio then dropping back into the 20-30's.

We gotta get a decent weekend to head out to Cars and Coffee. I'll likely bring my son's XJ a few times first.

From last night actually!

Car was actually pretty dirty so I started with a P&S Pearl pre-wash. This is one of the best products for my IK Foam 9 because it has a thin consistency, just like Griot's Garage foaming surface wash but at $20 a gallon I can go with 3 oz of product in there if I want or need to. Next was the 2BM wash and for this I used the new Mother's Triple wash and WOW, do this stuff sud up! I only used 2 or 3 ounces, can't remember because I prepared the bucket a couple weeks ago, finally got around to using it as a 2BM and I REALLY like!! I used the left over soap to clean the wheels, barrels and all.

Now its clean, finally....

Did a two bucket wash with Citrus Wash and Gloss. It cut thru a layer of road film, as it has rained just about every day in the past week. Cleaned the wheels with Meguiars Ultimate Wheel Cleaner and some APC for the tires.
Used Ultimate Spray Wax as a drying aid. I also put a coat of Slick down on the tires.
Here's hoping for more than one day on dry weather next week!

Colleague/friend at work came over for a quick wash and shine. I had already waxed and detailed his car a month ago before.

Started at 1:30pm, we finished by 4PM.

- Foam washed with 3D Pink Car Soap
- Detailed with Bead Maker after car wash.
- Tires dressed with Stoner More Shine
- Undercarriage washed then coated with Salt Away
- Dashboard, seats and trim dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant

Rinseless washed the SS using Meguiar’s D114. For kicks I applied Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax to the whole vehicle. I’m correcting and coating the SS come warmer weather so I figured, why not? I also did a second look over to make sure I didn’t get any hail damage and can confirm no damage.:xyxthumbs:
