What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Just rinsed down the IronX/Griot's Garage foaming surface wash combo and decided to skip the 2 BM wash and go straight to the 303 Touchless sealant, I mean they did hand wash the car yesterday and it was "ok", it's getting there.

That front plate has to go...and it will!

Cleaned up and coated a set of wheels with new rubber mounted to them for a previous customer so he can put them on his S4 that I did last summer. They turned out pretty outstanding IMO. GYEON Q2 RIM, two layers all around.

Pick up in about 30 minutes or so.

Also confirmed a QX60 coming to me after I get back from some time away this week. It's black like mine and should look damn nice when I'm through with it.
 
Used some Alien Kleen to tone down the "used car lot look" under the hood, last shot is a beauty shot but no tire coating...yet!

I'm a fan of these. Haven't driven one but they seem like a nice package for the price. Sat in one and the interior is pretty solid too. Manual or DCT?

congrats! i like the look of this gen of the elantra more than the current and it will age well too... great color too!
 
Well I'm not going to be "that guy" but you can clearly see the Audi influence in the front end but that makes sense as they hired an ex-Audi guy there, just like KIA did with the BMW M guy. The thing is this, no need to reinvent the wheel when someone has basically perfected it.

As far as the 19' Elantra Sport...nope

any automobile designed by Peter Schreyer after he left Audi, looks like a KIA/Hyundai..
 
The truck got the treatment today with a full tire cleaning, two bucket wash and finished with Sonax Spray and Seal. I used less product this time and I was pleased with the results.

I foamed the wife’s Beast using CarPro Reset in my iK sprayer leaving it to dwell while cleaning the wheels and tires. Rinsed it, then washed using several wash pads in a bucket. I used CarPro ECH2O/Reload as a drying aid and McKee’s SiO2 Tire Shine on the tires.
