What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Gave the big girl a bath and a quick detail spray. Bring on the rain lol

Can’t wait to polish it and glaze this thing. It’ll really shine!

Just finished washing the Soul and topped it with Gold Zirkon to see if it will make the metallic flakes pop a little more.

One of the better if not best looking Soul's I've seen. Looking forward to seeing pics.

Unfortunately it was cloudy outside yesterday and had to leave to Atlanta before I could see what it did to the paint, but I'll be back Sunday and it is supposed to be sunny! Cant wait to see what Gold Zirkon did in the sun.

Sorry if you all are tired of my Stinger pics. The other car in my household is a Chrysler Pacifica and no one wants to see a cleaned up minivan

Gave the car a RW with Ech2o. Tires lightly cleaned with Optimum PC 5•1. Wheels cleaned with Mckees Foaming Wheel Cleaner. Tires topped with PERL at 1•1. No pictures because my 6 month old nephew came over as I was finishing and well he's more important than pictures.

So I got a bug up my butt and decided to hit the touch-free by my daughters school, so I did it. It was the $10.00 wash, double everything and spot free rinse. It did a great job except, as with every touch free wash, the windshield didn't come out completely clean, so I had to do that my self afterwards. I got to work, dried a couple areas and wiped the tires with 303 Tire and Rubber cleaner. Then, when I got off of work, I applied a single coat of 303 Tire Balm to them and took my lunch break (always take my lunch at the end of the day as to not make customers wait for their parts, 30 minutes used to surf AG) I feel its a good idea to do this as the high pressure rinse can get into those nooks and crannies, plus the underbody wash too.

I found a new use for trim sealant:

I don’t know if this was actually a good idea but the polisher looks real nice now. Maybe I will top it with some Bead Maker. :)

I'm a huge fan of taking excellent care of my tools and equipment.

Nice job. :)

The wife’s Beast got vandalized last night. ****** birds!
I foamed her Beast twice with Adam’s Car Shampoo in the big iK sprayer while doing the wheels and tires. I rinsed the Beast before washing with many MF wash mitts in a bucket. Rinsed it down and pulled it in the garage. I had noticed some etching from those winged vandals so out comes the clay bar, 21 mm Swirl Killer, a white Meguiar’s MF finishing pad and Griots One Step Sealant. 15 minutes later she was admiring the now beautiful (but rock chipped) hood. For grins and giggles I topped the One Step with TW Seal & Shine.

I (insert horrible curses here) HATE them. There is a special room in a special wing in a special depth of Hades for whoever had the bright idea of putting ANYTHING glossy adjacent to automotive brakes.

My wife loves them of course since she doesn’t have to keep them up. If I could go back in time I’d have coated them with GTechniq C5 Wheel Armor from the beginning. They’re 5 foot wheels; any closer than that and all the scratches are readily visible.
