What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I finally decided to pull the trigger on some Black Pearl tire and trim.
Well, it is like it never existed for sale except for a UK site that would cost $120 for 16 oz shipped here.
I found an Ohio detailer selling on Facebook(guess it's good for something).
It has the same label on both gloss and satin with no differentiation. What the heck, thank god he separated them when delivered.
He wanted 100 for 4-satin and 5-gloss, 4 ounce bottles.Not too bad.

Maybe if they would have been more modestly priced it would still be around.

Snow foamed with Mckee’s coating prep. Then rinseless with Pure rinseless. And dried with Hydrate and PFM’s

Did a boss job no rinse in tires and rims.

More than today, actually the last week... 4 days on the truck, 2 days on one bike, and 1 day on the other bike...

Washed the work truck yesterday. 55 min at the coin op. Started with a pre soak of whatever they have...let’s say it’s like a bug remover but it did well on all the mud. Then a hot soap pressure rinse x2. Now I’m about to be shunned...pressure rinsed the brush out and went over the truck because it was still brown then a double rinse and drove down the interstate at 80 to air dry. Might be able to put something on it today but doubtful...chasing 4 kids around has limited my time for all hobbies to pretty much zero

Just trying to show how that rinseless cleaned the tire in a rinseless application. Added CP PERL the next day.

The black trim on my truck was not to the point of Solution Finish but I wanted to rejuvenate it. Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant brought it back to life.

Washed a load of microfibers last night.

Washed the husband's car today as promised... it was 56 today so had to do it!

Also threw a coat of WG DGPS on the RS :xyxthumbs:
I still love that stuff.

Yesterday the SS got Rinseless washed with a bucket full of MF towels and Adam’s Rinseless Wash. No pics, sorry. We all know what my PBM SS looks like clean in my driveway or garage.

Today it was 59* F (15* C) and sunny. The wife’s Beast got a thorough cleaning inside and out. First my wife cleaned out the interior and announced that our twin 11 year olds are a couple of piglets. Mmhmm. After the big stuff was removed the leaf blower blasted a lot of the small dusty stuff out into the passing breeze. She vacuumed out the Beast then wiped the interior clean with Griot’s Garage Interior Cleaner.

I then took the Beast into the garage where I started by cleaning the grill and front end with a boars hair detail brush and Griot’s Garage Foaming Prep Wash. Next the wheels and tires got cleaned with EagleOne wheel & tire cleaner. That stuff is fantastic and only $5 a bottle!

Next I foamed the Beast using the same Griot’s stuff in my iK sprayer letting it dwell then rinsing. I washed the Beast using Optimum M wash and many MF wash pads in a bucket. Rinsed then cleaned the paint using M wash and Adam’s clay mitt. Rinsed again then dried. I hit the paint with Adam’s Ceramic Boost.

Next I cleaned our vehicles Weather Tech mats using McKee’s Floor Mat Rejuvenator and a stiff brush. I tossed them out on the lawn to dry in the sun.

I pulled it out in the driveway to annoy the neighbors with our two clean rides and to take some pics. I also wiped the kids bikes down with Rinseless Wash and Ceramic Boost.

At this time my wife finished up the interior with Meguiar’s Ultimate Protectant, Meguiar’s Gold Class leather conditioner and Adam’s Pineapple Orchid Odor Neutralizer.
