What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Gave the rav4 a quick wash and topped it with PA high gloss.

Start them young. My nephew was helping me clean the trim on my Explorer and after that we did a waterless wash touch up on certain panels.

My father picked up a new Ranger yesterday.



The old feller idea of washing a car is to leave it out in the rain and that the dirt helps to protect the paint. :laughing:

Because I'm such an amazing son, I gave the thing some attention this afternoon using Reset and Hydr02 on the paint, glass and wheels.







This is as clean as this vehicle will ever be, a car is practically a mobile office for Dad.



 
All three cars were cleaned and the interiors sanitized with Spray Nine. If you can’t find Lysol or wipes in the store, look for Spray Nine. It kills viruses in 30 seconds. I finished off the interior surfaces with Megs Quik Interior Detailer.

I used it straight from the bottle. I let it dwell for 45 seconds and then immediately wiped it off and finished it with the Megs. All surfaces that anybody would touch got treated like the seat belt buckles, steering wheel, handles, radio knobs, temp controls, turn signal, wiper control, gear shifter and garage door opener.
 
Well cleaned up my envoy since basically you cant leave your house. Plus didnt feel like dealing with everyone that is still wiping out the stores. Also cleaned up my wifes aunts truck. Really want to spend more time with her wheels because i feel like i could probably get them looking great. But o well it was just enough time to clean them some what decent and wash the truck. First is her truck

Next is my baby. Cleans up ok for 14yrs old. Wheels need love but they look good from 5 ft so thats ok.

Looking good everyone.

I should’ve taken a before picture to show how dirty this was. Barely any red to be seen except hood and roof. It’s my wife’s vehicle and we live off of a dirt road.

2 bucket wash with Meguiars wash and wax (pink) through foam cannon. First time using the foam cannon as I now have a power washer. Much better!

And found this 5” eyesore. Somebody got her door. I’ll fix it later this spring.

After needing to use the spare due to a puncture, I just couldn't put it back into it's little home in that state! That's 4 years worth of dirt and grime.









All clean. I even gave the thing a coating of CarPro Perl, pointless I know but why not! :laughing:



And back into place.





Sanity restored. Well, as much as I can considering what's happening at the moment. I have to say, cleaning that wheel was a great distraction. Take care everyone. :xyxthumbs:
