What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I woke up to the lovely sound of a concrete cutter going next door, the new house was getting their driveway put in. So I waited till they were done, and gone, so I knew they were finished. Then I foamed it with Snow Job, rinsed it, gave it a bucket wash with Meg's Gold Class, then gave it a coating of 303 touchless sealant, and dried it with After Glow. Then I pressure washed the pressure washer, it was looking a bit dirty.

I got my shipment of Mothers All Chrome a few days ago and tried it out. Everything looks normal.

I rinsed the wheels today and noticed no difference in water beading. I wish I knew how Mothers defines the protection this product leaves behind. Has anyone else tried this product?

It’s easy to see that Ford pride goes a long way in regards to maintaining your vehicles in the best possible condition.
 
Gave my car it's 1st bath after a little over 1000mi and 3 weeks since I gave it a coat of PA High Gloss paste wax.

Despite appearances, I do like other brands too.

Detailing and tinkering in my garage keeps me sane and distracts me from my problems. The stuff hiding in those cabinets is the making of sheer joy.

After 4 work commutes, about 130 miles in total, my Jeep was in major need of de-bugging.

Foamed up and washed, then blow dry/pat dry.

Still a couple spots that the bug guts are dried to the windshield. Probably hit them with glass cleaner and a razor blade.

Hadn't touched the car in 2 days, drove through some damp roads, so I decided to get after it this evening (even though it supposed to storm...becausehumidity)

I reached for "Eve's better half" RW for this wash. I added 3 oz of RW into 4 gallons of water and used my grout sponge. I have to tell you this is an outstanding product, so much good out there! I know many of you take working on your cars outside for granted but for me it's a new concept and it makes drying the car alot easier Once I was done there I grabbed my Auto-Fanatic foaming wheel cleaner and foamed away at the tires/wheels. I did 2 at a time and let it sit and simply rinsed away. Because my rims are coated with Meg's HCW and Sonax wheel shield the foam barely sticks but does lift and pull away the dirt. The strong hose pressure makes the use of tools unnecessary, waiting to drive in a downpour and see how it does with major dirt/grit on there, stay "tuned".

Well now that my Miura blipsbift shirt is a wet mess and it's time to hit the shower and then relax with a cold one...cold glass of diet Dr. Pepper

Not really but I'll tell you this, when I go to the Dragon the past couple years indont spring out of that bed like I did the first 10 years of going (33-43 yrs old). That said, with how my life has been going since Nov 25th of 2019, my ass will be indeed spring out of that bed when it's time to make the drive down, this I can assure you

Yup. Roger in February, and myself in March.

And no, it doesn't. Same ol' aches & pains as 49.

But I had a debilitating back injury back in 2017, so I am kind of used to it. ;/

According to my Doc, I'm healthier this year than the previous 3. I'm still not working, so no rubbish take away for lunch every day, and I'm getting close to a full 8 hours sleep every night. I've started applying for jobs, but with up to 200 other applicants I'm not even getting an interview. Part of being 50 I suppose. But I'm still not bored, I could easily do this for a few more months.
