What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Over the last 2 days I built, painted, and setup my garage pressure washer station

Super pumped with the almost finished project

I made a rolling chair for working on the lower portions of vehicles. Scooting around on my knees is getting old.

Honestly I was just bored and had this 6 way adjustable bmw seat sitting around along with some wood scraps, casters, and no work

Funny, because I’m actually the aftermarket electrical guy too. Waiting for the right seat and then I’ll be making a powered unit for a buddy and fellow detailer. It will be miserably heavy and he will hate me for it.

Rinsed mine off first time in a month give or take. Need a warm weekend when I’m not working so I can clean it and put some protection down cuz she gone

Coming in late on this one with the current stage I’m at, but with a lot of advice and help selecting products over the weekend I managed to wash decon with iron x clay bar my vehicle. Used Blackfire one step on the entire vehicle and then applied one coat of wolfgangs trim sealant to all my trim, then follows that up with wolfgangs ceramic coat spray (thank you to Tom! (TMQ)), today I finished up that coating on the roof and windshield I hadn’t finished yesterday. Just need to hit my wheels with wolfgangs cleaner and sealant and call this baby good for 4-6 months hopefully. Man was it a lot of work but paid off as this is the first time I’ve ever done any detail work like this. One poor lighting junk photo for the heck of it but will get some in better daylight to get a good shine 🍻

Great work on the k5. The paint cleaned up very well. Are you telling me that the wheels weren’t supposed to be black? Lol I can’t believe how those turned out.

Your Cadillac is looking so smooth and crystal clean. Love the color.

Oh I didn’t even realize the difference about the wheels in these pictures! Lol. That job was like a 2-3 day process and the owner bought a different set of wheels & tires in between.

I had totally forgot about that... But I did wind up cleaning both sets and even polished the 2nd bare aluminum set with some Mothers using the Meguiars Powercone and the Mothers Powerball.
