What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Speaking of Mazda's - mine is that Polymetal grey - Carbon Edition with the red/maroon seats. Absolutely looks different depending on the light. Washed it the other day and did a quick one with Griot's Garage Speed Shine and Best of Show Detailer that I had laying around. The pic of the car in the garage, was done right after the PPF was put on in December at Detailer's Domain.
Speaking of Speed Shine, is it outdated/out gunned by the competition?

Looks good!

I test drove a Miata in color with black Recaro Seats. Tempting but I want mine in Soul Red Crystal Metallic.

Turns out turtle wax seal and shine original formula does pretty dang good. Truck looks spotless. Ended up with 26” of snow here in 20ish hours and the wheel wells are only thing dirty. Burned 2 gallons of gas in the snow blower today. Pretty sure it needs more sealant on it to

Maintenance washes for both Rangers today.

Also had fun trying out my new Vac.

I send you guys my condolences...

Well working by machine is a lot better than working by hand.

For this project, it's not so bad. The back carpet still has protective plastic over it and for the most part not many people sit back there. The front has seen some wear-n-tear but it cleaned up real good.

I did this last night after work and let it dry over night with an air mover inside the car. This morning I've already treated the carpet with the 303 Fabric Protectant and now it's curing.

Working on the outside now. Love these classic body lines and with the gear-driven Supa BEAST - no pad stalling.

I'm testing two different LSPs right now on the hood. After wipe-off I'll choose one and then seal the roof as it's already clayed and corrected.

Got the ES cleaned up from a weeks worth of driving, rain AND snow this past week

Started out with Brake Buster for the tires and wheels, left over CG's wheel cleaner for the wheel wells and various brushes. Next up was the car itself and grabbed 4 ounces of Griot's Garage Brillant Shine rinseless wash, my bucket,1000 ML Kwazzer and 5 mg towels and got after it! Gave the engine bay a wipedown with some of the left over solution and knocked out the jams. Next was the drivers side WeatherTech floorliner and some Alien Kleen, I had it in my trunk so I just grabbed it. Sprayed down the WeatherTech floorliner, let it dwell and wiped with a mf towel and rinsed, put in the 55 degree sun to dry and all done, looks perfect! Next were the rims and Griot's Garage Ceramic Speed Shine to take care of some water spots from not getting to them quick enough, no problem as they came out nice...real niceFinished up by dressing the tires with a single application of Auto Glym tyre gel, love this stuff and can't wait to try it on non-absorbing winter tires...about a week or two till the swap out there!

Now it's all clean for the first Cars and Coffee of 2021

I noticed some marks in the p/s quarter panel from rubbing up against the huge snow hill at the end of our drive, couldn't avoid it and decided to hand polish it out...no problem. I then added some protection on the polished area...then, well...did the whole car. The product I used was Turtle Wax Hybrid Solution Pro Graphene Flex Wax. Now I applied the 75th anniversary TW last weekend and it wasn't 60 today...almost though and this stuff was a little hard to remove. I used 1 towel to remove the majority of the product and a 2nd towel for the final buff. Thing is, after the final buff I could "kinda" see it on the paint, took my finger and could make a squiggly mark. When I was all done I did a 3rd wipe and it was all good. To finish up I applied a little more Auto Glym tyre gel and NOW ITS READY for Cars and Coffee tomorrow

Tried cleaning the floor mats, which had some salt stains, with vinegar/water. Passenger side turned out great. Maybe one or two spots to spot clean yet on the driver side.

Have 2 weeks yet until a cars and coffee.

The goal is to have a windshield that looks like it’s not even there.
