Otherwise you’ll just have to deal with looking at all photos posted several times. Most that use TapaTalk aren’t going to edit so internet forum readers see less.

We use it because it’s easier on our lives…. Not others.

SiC is slicker than Gliss.

That aside, I feel that slickness is the first property that diminishes in a coating. Even after the first wash, it’s not going to be like day one again. If this is news of the obvious, please forgive me. I’m just an enthusiast when it comes to detailing…not an expert.

I would hope though, that this feature of a coating will really help repel dirt and contaminants. Because as someone has before, “Paint is meant to be admired, not touched.”

From what i’ve read slickness is not a component of self cleaning. I know we’re not suppose to touch our paint but a slick feeling paint is almost as satisfying as the way it looks.

I think that’s why BeadMaker is/was so popular. Can add that slickness after every wash.

- Fully socially functional 38yo that uses a smartphone, but isn't on social media. At family gatherings, my Dad and 7-year-older-than-me brother are the ones that can't leave the phones alone.

Again no need to attack others. This is a happy place.

The Apple version is in Beta in Apples TestFlight. Seems you can join and test out if you wish or see if the eventually launch full version.

Again i’m just trying to offer solutions. You seem to be the one agitated and i do not spend my time trying to agitate people across the country I don’t know.

Edit: I come here for breaks from everyday as most do. You or I do not need the agitation because yes we could do this all day but neither of us really needs that. I enjoy and appreciate most of your posts so i’ll br the one to drop it

I’m the same. 3-4 forums are my only means of social media.

I get it though. Had TikTok for 3 months and one day i watch it for 2 hours with out a thought and realized how it can suck you in and I deleted it.

That was 2 hours i coulda spent polishing.

I' use Tapatalk on both Android and iOS. It's such a breeze!

I’m sure your not as alot of people post with issues of posting pics from PC.

This is the first i’ve heard from anyone having to see all pics when someone quotes a pic heavy post.

Used website for about 2 days before downloading TT so didn’t realIy remember that interface.

With TT it just gets all my forums in one place. All messages and new post of all threads that I follow show up on dash board.

What is strange is why tapa talk is keeping the multi quote issue on a PC/Mac...you would think if it deletes it for you guys it would be a done deal.

I think the problem is online it’s the autogeek forum so tapa only makes those changes in its app.

I would think however, if a surface is super slick, things will not stick to it. So how would that not help repel dirt and debris?

Let’s say slickness doesn’t repel dirt, but due to the hydrophobicity, the little water droplets cleaning the top 2/3 of my car on the way to work these chilly fall mornings at 1:30am are where it’s at.




I’m eager for the next job and using SiC. If anything, it will be a big time saver during application.

I use my iPad or desktop, but use my phone with tapatalk to post pictures.

I’m with Bosko on the quoting posts with multiple pics, although I’m sure I’ve done it on accident. Just have to delete the pics in the post that you’re quoting. BTW, beautiful lake. Sad your SIL didn’t enjoy it. The wilderness is the best playground available, and great for a mental reset. Mid 30s here btw.
