What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

What is your favorite?

I currently like using Xtreme Solutions Topper. I mix it with their Jersey Devil and use it as a drying aide. Gloss is great, it is easy to use, and great hydrophobic properties.

Not yet. I had horrible luck with beadmaker and was scared to try it. Lol. Beadmaker made my car a dust and pollen magnet.

Well right now everything is a pollen magnet! Dream maker does not have that issue and I think if you give it a try you will have a new favorite!

At the end of the day it is a very small investment but for what is worth I'm a big fan of it! I'm waiting on them to make it in a gallon size and I'm not sure what the h*** they're waiting for

Decided it was time to recoat my windshield, it’s been quite a long time and the sheeting performance was dismal.

I broke out the hand and body massager, aka the HF DA. Polished with BF One Step (last few drips of the bottle), followed by wiping it down with some IPA, and used Pinnacle GlassCoat. The 2nd coat is on now curing.

Also cleaned the wiper blades thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, they was filthy too!

It’s supposed to rain tomorrow so we’ll see how it does!

Today's fun task was cracking open a new bottle of Meg's Ultimate Waterless and wiping off the horizonal surfaces.

Man, that stuff is one of the best smelling things ever to pass under my beak!!

Is it better than Meguiars NXT? That’s still my #1 in terms of detailing smells.

Had the rear wheel out of the ZRX11 to fit a new rear rotor & pads, took the opportunity to clean the swing arm etc.

I had the sunroof open today and stopped to get the mail...and noticed the edges were dusty, as was the windscreen thingy that pops up when the roof is down. I don't like opening the roof this time of year because of the pollen, it gets green...so all of that is going to be cleaned today, along with door jambs.

New discovery for me...the car is not clean unless the door jambs are.

I haven't smelled that product. The Tech Wax, I think it was called? Does it still exist??

The UWW is so good I'm almost tempted to drink the stuff.

Don't forget inside the fuel filler door as well.

Better than eraser?

I’ve never tried Eraser. What’s the scent? NXT is “rumored” to be jujube candy mixed with key lime pie. It’s heavenly.

It’s on my list as I need a waterless wash to keep around. As for NXT, it is still available.

So I tried the Autofiber Scrub Ninja on my steering wheel with Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer. Effortless and fast. Those scrub pads are very effective.

Little 50/50 here. Obviously right side clean and left side is not. Don’t mind the dust in other places. I did the steering wheel before touching anywhere else inside of the vehicle.

Left it looking new.

Ooo, interesting. I used the Scrub Ninja on my steering wheel as well, but with diluted Super Clean. It wiped clean but later in the day when I got back in the car, there were slick oily spots on the wheel...as if it pulled all the oil back to the surface.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm thinking I should repeat the process until it stops doing that.
