What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I plan on doing just that come winter time, once a week, the other days will be just running it through. This touch-free wash will keep my EN clean...top side and bottom side

Do you pay a monthly fee or per wash?

And now I get to clean up the residue…I’ll be finished when my granddaughter graduates Ole Miss in three years unless they put me in a “home”!

Fixed it.

I have to do the same to my Acadia. I tried CG VRP, but just ended up throwing it in the trash.

What about Meg's M39 for all that trim?

Not sure, I’ve never tried it before but I have used/tried opt power clean at full strength with not much success…wasn’t about to try tar, I’d like to keep the paint on my car:).

I decided to treat the FJ with the Glaco Soft 99 from my post a few days ago. Cleaned all the glass first with Krystal Klean Bubblegum Blitz, then used Duragloss Nu-glass to remove any previous coatings, and to make sure, wiped down with Carpro Eraser, which sat really flat on the surface, so the glass was definitely bare.

Applied the Glaco on all exterior glass, even the mirrors, not the headlights though, as they're plastic. Then buffed it all off, and it buffed off a lot easier than on the Qashqai, all except the rear window, which was just as difficult as the windscreen of the Qashqai, go figure.

To finish off I cleaned the inside of all the windows with Krystal Klean.

Washed and dried with Megs synthetic spray wax rain for the next 5 day's.

Monthly fee

It's $9.99 a month for the 1st 2 monthes, once a day usage and after that it's $35.00. This is for the top wash too, $16.00 a pop and I'm not sure how they come out ahead but that's on them

Another before crack of dawn maintenance wash on the truck. So quiet and peaceful. And no hot sun to deal with.

Roger it must not have been you that hit the jackpot...other wise im sure you would be talking about building your own personal touchless wash instead lol

Another coat of TWHS Flex wax. Dry application. And another coat of Wolfstiens tonneau cover protectant.

Full exterior detail to the X3, chemical and mechanical decontamination last night.

This morning/afternoon was polishing with 3D Speed and LC Orange pads, paint was already in good shape so it was mostly knocking out some minor scratches and cleaning the paint.

Since my daughter is going to be taking it to college and she’s not going to take care of it as I do, I used an oldie but goodie, Sonax PNS! It has great self cleaning abilities and great protection that will last for months. I’ll hit the exterior trim later tonight with Wolfgang WETS as well as the tires with Hybrid Solution graphene tire coating.

Isolation day 3, the Qashqai needed some attention on the inside, mainly dust. So I thought I'd use TWHS Inside Job, wiped down the dash, doors and inside the back hatch area using a Bowden's Square Bear applicator, buffed after with a plush MF. It may not look as "treated" as it does with 303 Aerospace Protectant, but I know after using it on the FJ, that it lasts, and it won't streak when it gets wet like 303 does.

I did a wash subscription a few years ago during the winter. My experience was that they made cancelling fairy difficult. You couldn't cancel at the car wash itself. I had to be done in writing. They cancelled it immediately after receiving the written cancellation so you always lost some of the last month.
