What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Amazing product, save the bottle and buy the 1/2 gallon size later

Watch for sales. I think I got the half gallon for ~$20 around July 4. Guessing Labor Day weekend will be bringing deals this week.

Kamikaze Cleansing works. Stripped all existing protection. Some areas required another pass at it. Washed 2x with Descale. Ran out of time so there is no protection on truck. Will use ONR this weekend, followed by Gyeon Prep then coat with Cquarts Lite. I would have liked to have had time to coat it today but it didn't work out that way.

Share more! Was it easy to use... miraculous... game changing?

I just ordered the new Glaze in their summer sale along with a host of other items to justify the shipping. Main difference is supposedly dry application vs wet for the cleansing. Can't wait to try it out.

Your paint looks squeaky clean!

It was very easy to use. I used a mf coating applicator as that was all I had on hand. After washing with Descale, while the surface was wet, I applied two nickel size drops to the applicator. I then applied it using a cross hatch pattern over a 2x2 area. The only area it struggled a bit was the tailgate where Can Coat was going strong.

I give this product a 8.5/10. Worked very well. Areas went flat. I even washed it after to make sure it wasn't leaving something behind to mask it. I think for enthusiasts that want to try different products and don't feel like polishing this is a great product.

It was time to clean and treat the windscreen on the FJ. Cleaned it with Carpro Eraser first, then applied Glaco "Chemical Liquid Super Wiper" from Soft 99. While that was hazing, 5-10 mins the instructions say, I decided to apply it to the front door glass and mirrors as well. Does anyone else treat their wing mirrors? Instructions say to remove the hazing with a damp towel, but I used a damp paper towel, to avoid linting. I also cleaned and treated my wiper blades with 303 Aerospace Protectant, I have Bosch wiper blades, they're almost a year old and seem to be holding up well.

Just did a morning visual inspection of the paint after using Kamikaze Cleansing. Extremely clean. This is a great product for enthusiasts that want to try different products or don't want to polish.

Awesome! Does it do anything for any paint imperfections? I think that might be a bit hopeful but curious if it helps at all should you have acquired some washing love marks.

My assumption is the new glaze might help mask them but everyone knows the issue with product names and their true benefits.

Thanks for the updates/review!

Welcome! I think it does. Paint looks noticeably better. I'm impressed.

"This creates a sharp reflection after treatment and a "lightly polished" look to the paint film that cannot be achieved with standard stain removal or oil removal processes."

"Improvement of the reflection of the painted surface and smoothing of the surface of the paint film."

Just another maintence wash before work this morning but this time I boosted up the tires, lightly, with TWHS graphene tire dressing

Went outside and vac'd out the EN and then finished up bottle of TWHS Interior Detailer, then transfered the Veros Interior Detailer into the empty TW flairosol bottle/sprayer. The Veros Interior Detailer smells INCREDIBLE, not that the TW didn't but the Veros is on a different level of FRESH

Couple weekends ago i paint corrected my buddys 57 chevy panel truck. 2 days later he hauled it out to kool deadwood nights car show in deadwood south dakota. I sealed the paint with armour detail supply ceramic sealant.

I gave him a bottle of Amplify to take and try out. Apon return he told me amplify is all he used the entire time. It cleaned bug guts, diesel soot, fuel, roadkill...everything(was his words lol). Hauled 1500 miles round trip, drove around out there another 500 miles. Amplify took care of it all. He was really pleased with the product.

Anyway, heres a few pics of it out there since i was unable to get finished pics before it left

Finally had a chance to give the new ride a quick wash. Had been wanting to try Reset as a car wash for a while, got some ordered and gave it a go.

Did a round of Griot’s Foaming Surface Wash, pressure wash rinsed, and a Reset single bucket wash. The car had a weird film on it before the wash that I think was just the result of whatever touchless wash the previous owner had been using; Reset did a nice job cutting through that. Quick hit of Sonax BSD during the drying phase to give it a little something until I have time to do a proper detail.

Pardon the wheels - couple weeks ago I hit them with a pass of iron remover followed by Griot’s Foaming Surface Prep, then Sonax BSD - during this wash for time’s sake they just got the Surface Wash and pressure wash rinsed. Was impressed they came as clean as they did.

You can feel the paint has bonded contaminants, but due to time restrictions this was just a sanity wash. Looking forward to getting it all the way up to snuff.

Quick shot before I headed home, looks black in this lighting. I’ll have to get a good one soon that shows it’s brown metallic look…
