What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

How does it compare to Hyper Dressing?

I'm betting that they're working on a higher end tire dressing right now I'm looking forward to that as well as their higher pH pre-wash snow foam. I say this because I commented on it in one of their threads and using Bilt-Hamber as a benchmark and they said they were using a better product as a bunch mark

Application wise, they are they are the same. I do like that Hyper Dressing has a nice scent to it, obviously not a practical benefit, but adds to the user experience. The big plus for Hyper Dressing over the DIY is, in concentrate form at least, that you have much more leeway in adjusting it to taste.

To choose between the two, I would favor Hyper Dressing because of the dilution factor.

Edit: Oh yea that’s hella expensive for rtu water based tire dressing. Some people balk at Hyper Dressing @ that price, but at least it’s dilutable. Same with OG tire dressing. It’s crazy.
 
Just got done with my early morning Maintenace wash on the truck. Did the base coat of flex wax over vacation. So used it this morning as my drying aid. Cool morning. But hands down the best time to spend some quality time! Tires got a quick refresh of Griots ceramic tire shine.

Not sure how one hogs the what did you do today non-detailing thread. it's in the off-topic forum.
 
This poor vehicle was savagely attacked by a lawn care worker outside the owner’s job. Well, not savagely but as the worker was walking by with his backpack blower he brushed up against the driver’s side one to many times for the owner to ignore. I did a decon wash and did a two step polish on the affected panels. Now the owner has a clean car with three perfectly paint corrected panels paid for by the LCO.

On a side note, if you’re looking for a family SUV this Cherokee is very nice. It’s the plug in hybrid model and whisper silent and comfortable. That’s my opinion from the five minutes I spent in the interior.

Hope he checked that gardener. How dumb can someone be to accidentally do that more than once? Smh.

It's been a while since I washed the car since it's been pretty warm. RW wasn't appropriate. I foamed the car with hyper wash since I was using the pressure washer earlier on the house.

Thanks. If you saw it up close you'd find a bunch of rock chips from all the highway driving. Definitely needs a bunch of touch-up before the winter.

Not trying to bag on your ride/Marque but I love Mazdas paints, especially the Soul Reds and have heard and seen this about them. My car as well has this rep, thankfully I don't do quite as much highway driving

It rained all last night...ALOT, then all morning and afternoon today (plus my Lions lost) so when it cleared up and sun came out, I got out there and got after it️

There was plenty of tree debris all over the EN, some starting to make brown puddles, so a Griot's Garage pre-wash was first up. Because it was cool out and out of the sun I let it dwell to do its job, then rinsed it cleaned

Next up was a Bilt-Hamber AutoWash 2BM, felt better doing this and this soap is my "be all, end all", PURE clean and it shows! Rinsed w/ the hose and free flowing water and dried to perfection...done (Lions still lost)

Ran the EN through the touch-free wash after work, drove to the park near my daughters daycare to spot dry it

Afterwards I applied a coat of TWHS Pure Shine to boost it up, Veros QD on the rims AND tires, vac'd it out and sprayed some CG's Signature Scent to the interior

The engine bay was cleaned with N914 WW and dressed with Griot's Garage Trim detailer on Saturday, very versatile product as I've also used it on the wheel wells and front grill and rear diffusor previously
