What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I never said arrogant. I meant what I said when I said I liked it. If anyones car is going to look that good, what better place for the owner to be than here.
It's all good Ric, I just didn't know how else to say it

I think I did Ric, sorry man

It’s all good. All in all it was meant as a compliment to say your car looks damn good. Safe to say in that 1% of all cars on the road and I’d bet the cleanest car in your part of the city if not the entire city. Lol.

Nothing like that feeling of having the most pristine car on the road!

Wow such praise from my peers

I guess it's good I ran the EN through the touch-free wash after rain last night and wet roads this morning

Got home and dried it, ran the vac and sprayed some Griot's Garage leather scent inside to top it off

Not sure how long it's going to be clean as it's cloudy and rain is forecast for the entire weekend but you know what, when that window of opportunity I'd there...TAKE IT

As I walk around the neighbourhood with my dogs, there are cars that haven't been washed in months, I see the same dirt on them day after day. Then there are those that are always clean, but poorly washed, a dark blue mustang that looks good till you see the cheap car wash brush marks comes to mind, then there are those that are, to use your word, pristine. They get it, if you go by as they're washing, you see the good products and proper technique, they are the 1%, and it could be any make and model.

Sadly I see zero cars washed correctly here doesn't matter if they are a beater or a luxury cruiser. People just treat their vehicles like they are appliances even if for some, they are the most expensive thing they own. I never understood that. You don't have to be a crazy guy like me to keep a car really nice. But to each their own

Yep. Not a single person in my street washes their car at home in the driveway, if at all.

Had the day off so Maintenace wash on the Truck. Calling for rain all weekend so did it this morning. Finished with flex wax again as a rinse wax. Quick touch up on the tires with Griots Ceramic tire shine. This product really holds up. Might be the best of the ceramic tire products.?

It's all about balance

I’m not saying this is probable, but sometimes I wonder if some of the neighbors don’t wash their cars outside because of how extensive we are when we do it. Kinda like they wouldn’t want to look like they’re doing it wrong.

Honestly I don’t look at anyone doing it wrong because I don’t judge. I’m just happy to see someone putting the effort at keeping their car clean. We were all noobs 1 day.

1 of my brothers used to wash his car all the time, but since I got more seriously into detailing about 10yrs. ago he no longer washes his car in front of me at all. I think he takes his truck to a car wash once in a while or pays me to do it.

Used Wet Coat on an unprotected car. I still really enjoy using this product.

It sounds counterintuitive and not possible, but I often think I get more even coverage using Wet Coat than your WOWO sealants.

Give me Can Coat and Wet Coat I am good to go. Great combo.

I haven't used Wet Coat for about 10 years, I had some go bad, it left a streaky finish that was a real PITA to fix. I don't know if it was a bad batch, or more likely a storage issue, I'd had it a year or so and where it was stored got to over 100f in summer. I do have 303 Touchless Sealant on the shelf currently, and I've never had an issue with it, but we've moved house and I have better storage now. I don't know if they've been tested back to back, but they seem comparable to me. I've also been able to get 303 TS at auto stores here for a while, Wet Coat had only online availability till very recently.

As for coverage, it does seem to get in places other stuff can't, it's almost like magic, I mean using high pressure water to make something coat and stick to a surface seems counterintuitive.

After a dreary day of rain yesterday and hundreds of leaves on my car (ok...dozens) I just got back from my touch-free wash. I got gas today because at Shell on Bears gameday you get .25 off of premium, combined with my usual discount, it's. 30 cents off. I didn't have my IK Foam Pro 12 with me but I did but I did have my 1000 ML Kwazzer filled with N914 WW, so I pre-treated the entire car because of wet leave stains...car came out great

It really saved me some time - spray, rinse, done. Left some gloss behind too. It allowed met to air dry the car which I always try to do. I don't look at the spray/rinse products as durable sealants. They're just convenient. I heard good things about most of them including the 303. :xyxthumbs:
