What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Inactivity, I guess. I think it may have been linked to my old work email from 4 years ago. Maybe they sent an email and I didn't respond.

They have a new showroom now, I almost visited when I was in Sydney 2 weeks, but it was over 103f that day, I didn't feel like taking too many detours.

It is available here, $54.99 for a gallon, plus delivery. Bowden's have a MF wash as well, around the same cost per litre when you factor in delivery, I'll go and have a look at the next sale, which is usually once a month at least.

Nice day in PA TODAY!! Knocked off 2 weeks of dirt on the truck. Also cleaned my K&N Cabin Filter. Finished with wet wax and #253 on the tires. Clean again.

Despite it being 50 degrees, there's two feet of snow melting. No exterior detailing today. Figured I might as well play in the interior.

Laid down Dash Pro across both vehicles in the front (most often used) of each.

Also tried out Griot's Plastic All in One. Thought maybe it would be the secret sauce but I'm just not good with piano black. It's shinier but still scratched. I'll either need to give in and use more aggressive pads or stop chasing the trim and pillars. I don't trust myself with piano black.

Should have some new rinseless toys to play with tomorrow though!

Just a suggestion, but you can get by on "free and clear" laundry detergent if it makes more sense for the wallet.

We had mild temps and some cloud cover today, so a good time to wash the Qashqai, finally. It feels like it's been a couple of months, but it's probably been a few weeks.

Cleaned the wheels first, used Bowden's Wheely Clean and my chubby yellow brush.

Foamed it up with NV Snow, clouds and 70%+ humidity meant excellent dwell time.

I was going to do a 2B wash next, but after spraying off with the pressure washer, I could see there was nothing left to wash off, so I moved it back inside and dried it using Ech2o as a drying aid.

I put another layer of Boost V2 on after that, then topped up the tyres with Meg's Hyper Dressing.

Well, it's not a genuine "Little Chubby". In fact I think I bought it before that one came out, I found it in Total Tools, in the Automotive Tool section, sometimes they have random detailing stuff as well. I've had it maybe 10 years, I bought the Meg's one a year or so back, but I still like this one better for painted wheels, the bristles are softer.

I cleaned my neighbor's car for her 50th Birthday. Had bird bombs and finger prints all over the place. Unfortunately it needs a good polishing to get the damage removed, but definitely not doing that as a gift lol.

Backed the car out of the garage and drove it right next door and it was already covered in pollen! Ugh! Hopefully she enjoys it when she gets back on Thursday.

I had the FJ in the garage checking the fluid levels, and wiping the dust off the engine bay plastics. I noticed some water runs from the door handles and mirrors, we had about 15mm of rain overnight. It didn't have any waterspots though, happy about that. So I gave it a wipe over with Ech2o while it was inside, also cleaned the inside glass with Krystal Klear Bubble Gum Blitz.

This weekend, finished up some parts that are going on a truck for this weeks MATS truck show in Lousville Ky. Also buzzed around a panel truck again, this time with 3d 505 to get rid of some marring that occurs when all they use at shows is stinking quick detailers and improper techniques
