What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Finally a clean car after few weeks.

That thing looks fantastic Opie, is that metallic? I always wanted a car in that GM metallic black.

I've got this in the old bottle and wonder if it had a scent change at some point? I don't mind the smell but it's strong and reminds me of hairspray.

It reminds me of a womans hair soap or hair product, so maybe. Idk, its not over powering though, quite pleasant to me

So, as expected, the EN got blasted with pollen and sap mist from being parked from 8 p.m. last night and through the morning and while a "first world problem" it's aging me at a rapid rate

I wasn't able to get after it this morning as my g/f and I went to cemetery to visit her Mom but before that I took the TAOS for it's sap mist/pollen removal at my touch-free wash. Once home I cleaned the glass with Bilt-Hamber Traceless and gave the car a wipdown with Collinite 3 in 1 Detailer, another SOLID product out there! I then found a bird bomb scare and used numerous things to remove it, in the end though, compound and "elbow grease" prevailed

So while my g/f went grocery shopping I decided to tackle the EN, car deserves much, much better, led to slaughter every day from early May till what, end of Sept

I chose the following weapons:

-Labocosmetica Preludio Decon
*Pre-wash*

-Meg's Hyper Wash
*1 oz - 3.5 gallons of water

-Griot's Garage wheel cleaner
*great for routine maintence*

-TAC System water flow
*boosted the wheels, grill, lower body kit and rear valance*

-My various tire & wheel brushes

Now our cars are both parked on the street, under a tree that ISN'T a pine tree Hey Deyon, is there anything I can do to kill these trees and make them not leak sap anymore

Ordered Gtechniq Citrus Foam for pre-washes on the Shelby and their QD. It specifies it is for coated cars and will no affect the hydrophobics of their coatings, so sounds like it *should* be a good choice for the 500. DI has a 20% off sale right now in Gtechniq so hacked away some at the wish list items.

Cleaned my windscreen with this product, smells of 🥥 and can dust but cleans so good.

And yes you can work up a sweat cleaning glass.

Sounds a bit like Autoglym Car Glass Polish. Not really a polish, but great for removing contaminants off windscreens, both the inside and out. No scent from memory, but can dust a little too. It will remove a Rain-X level coating. I always have some on hand in case I work on my brother's car, his other half is a smoker, although she swears she never smokes in the car.

One of the very few Gtechniq products I liked.

I'd suggest the Stihl MS500i, the worlds first fuel injected chainsaw. That should solve the problem!

Zero experience, intimidated by them

I was thinking more along the lines of chemicals

If a fake man like me can use them, you will fine.....................great fun. ;)

Chemically, you would inject the truck with glyphosate/Round-up, just drill a few small holes about 1cm deep, then dripple the chemical into the hole, say twice a day for a few days. Or ringbark it by scoring the bark and into the cambium layer the full circumference around the base of the trunk.

Gave the Mustang a little loving this mourning.

Presoak with Road Warrior
Foam washed with Hyper Wash
Panel wipe
Sealed with Feynlab Ceramic Detailer
Dressed tires with Carpro Darkside
Dressed wheels with Optimum Hybrid Elixer

Going to try to fight the urge to top the Feynlab with anything to see how long it lasts. Should last the 3 months they claim as its a garage queen.
The Feynlab is definately slick. Very slick, but not noticeably more so than the Ultralock and Collinite 845 that's on my Chevelle.
