What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Ever use the Adam's Citrus Degreaser? I bought it last year with the foaming tips but it seems similar to the ADS Clean. Very robust in use and safe. Curious on your thoughts once you use it.

I'm still pretty full on Citrus Degreaser. Trying to let my vehicle get dirtier so I feel like it's used properly.

I will certainly make a post for it, no doubt! There's 3 levels of clean you can make, I could do a small bottle of all 3 but with Alien Kleen & Bilt-Hamber Surfex, I usually did 3:1 or 4:1

From The Gus’s video, he seemed to like it very well.

What ADS products ARENT that good?
I can assure I'm not sponsored by ADS but EVERY product of there's has been 100%!

Sure there's "stand outs" but everyone will and can have a different user experience but if you'd like a more detailed answer let me know which products your considering and I'd give you my opinion on them

Well soooo much from the wheel cleaning on Sunday, the Angelwax Elixir didn't bond due to cold issues? Or the 200km drive to Launceston in 30ml of rain washed every last bit off.....

I did apply it on 27 April last deep clean and it stayed on over a month rain and all.

I really should of checked Monday night before the trip on Tuesday 🤬

The key thing with ADS is that there isn't a dud in the range, however there are a few that don't reach the same heights as their signature products. Does that mean those products are bad? Not at all, rather it's a reflection on how high they set the bar.

The Brilliant - Amplify, Adapt, Ceramic Spray Sealant, Hero, the tyre cleaner, the iron remover, Shampoo+, Tire+, Ghost and Pilot. The Wheel Coating is THE benchmark on the market, bar none. Phobic is great too.

The Less-Brilliant - The Wheel Cleaner, Panel Prep, Beads, Decon Soap.

I haven't used Panel Prep from ADS yet but Gyeon has a VERY high bar there

Their Wheel Cleaner being ph-balanced probably takes some of the "bite" out of it, so I use it as an inbetween maintence product

As far as Decon soap goes, VERY high bar here with Bilt-Hamber Touchless & Labocosmetica's offerings. I've had a good experience with their Decon soap and if I had to guess a v2 is probably in the works

Finally EZ Beads or Beads as it's called, seems to perform on par with other similar products but after buying/using TAC System Water Flow it's a wrap but only because it's concentrated AND allows for foam cannon/gun use! It's $40 for an 8 oz bottle and it makes ALOT of products, value is value BUT it performs well too

Outdoor detailing is off the menu for the next couple of weeks because the cottonwood/black poplar seeds are flying and it is really bad this year because we have so many trees on the two sides the prevailing winds are coming from

It is a white fluffy blizzard

A simple rinseless in the garage with N-914 using multiple 500 gsm towels followed by a Gauntlet wipedown is today's detailing chore
