An actual police scanner, or police scanner app? I have a couple of scanners, but there's nothing worth listening to in my area, all the good stuff is encrypted now. So I have the Scanner Radio app on my phone, set up to give me alerts when a lot of people start listening to something. Usually it's mass shootings or riots in the US, occasionally you can listen to the RFS somewhere in Australia fighting bushfires.
Currently top of the pops is Indianapolis Metro Police, with a police chase. Sixth on the list is Tasmania Police South, so you're not encrypted down there.

Just a app it covers analog and digital police channels nothing crash hot just the usual domestic, mentally ill, stealing, traffic stop. They will talk about anything on the radio except sensitive stuff then they call their mobile's.
I only listen some time's as it gets a little boring.

Yeah, If I'm listening, it's mostly in the background, rarely do I just listen while doing nothing else.
Although I did get the alert when the guy was shooting up Las Vegas from the hotel room, I heard the police, using their code numbers, talking about 20+ deceased victims down behind the stage area, and I was listening when the police were outside his room waiting for the go ahead to go in. This was a few hours before it hit the news over here. I couldn't' believe what I was hearing.

that is very crazy and imo rare that you were able to catch that live. Ive watched documentarys on that, with eye witness actual video footage, and account of ppl that were there. They were supressed on bringing out the truth.
That was a MASSIVE coverup, and inside job. No doubt in my mind. There was multiple shooters from different locations. Multiple helicopters with actual logged flight patterns that were over the site, eye witness accounts of shots comming from the helicopters, brass found on the ground.
One of the many coverups by our corrupt gov.

The Granite is in
Momma got her farm sink (crazy spendy)
Not a single seam in any of the granite, the run in the corner where the sink is took a 7’x10’ piece of granite
This is the backsplash accent for the kitchen for above the 6” granite extension up to the bottom of the cabinets as well as the shower floor
All the flooring, bathroom tile, etc staged and ready
The stone cladding for the fireplace enclosure

More housework than detailing, I got to play with a new toy today. My Mum has a habit of buying these "great" things advertised on tv. She then gives them to me and says you use it first and then show me how it works, and it just gets left to me. This one was actually ok, twin counter-rotating replaceable pads on the end of a stick. Just spray the floor cleaner out in front of it. Did a reasonable job, almost no effort.

Helping my son in law shovel 2-3 feet of snow off their roof
There have been 2 commercial buildings collapse over the last few days due to snow load
His roof has started ice damming so we wanted to clear it before it develops any leaks
There is a lot of snow here this year

So, this week’s progress
Flooring going down. They drum sanded the entire house before starting
The fireplace facing is complete
Guest bath just needs grouting
Kitchen backsplash is complete
The boss is NOT happy with her tile selection for the backsplash and bathroom accent
I’m not sure either
The grout comes through in the picture as gray but it’s actually more of a light cocoa color
Oh well
The shower pan in the master bathroom is underway
As of now they have a projected completion date of March 27th and then 10-12 days for final appraisal, our home inspection, etc
The preliminary appraisal came back just $7,000 under the sale price and we were happy with that
The final appraisal won’t change that, it’s just a confirmation that everything in the contract is completed
