What did you do today non-detailing related?

Finally the weather is starting to take a turn here in Michigan, got off of work this morning and it was about 40 out. Knowing Friday will be 60 or so it is time to start cleaning and organizing the garage, getting ready for Friday Night Details! Pulled all my outdoor cooking machines out, I got too many and I am planning on adding two more units this summer. Moved things around, swept/vacuumed, threw some things out, got the snow blower put in its storage location. Started getting tools I have used over the winter back in there proper homes.

Tomorrow I got to finish organizing the work bench, and hooking up a small stereo system I took out of my home office when I remodeled it a few months ago. So I should be posting in the other "What did you do today" thread soon.

Visitor- I can tell you this, I was so grateful we have a kitchen faucet that is pretty tall, so I could get my big head under it with ease!

I've got to do this... the cold is still hanging on just enough to make me not want to be outside yet.
Hopefully in the next few weeks I can get things moving.

Its been an odd season here, it can't make up its mind. We might get a dusting of snow tomorrow, and its suppose to be 71 on Sunday.

Same here... although thankfully we aren't getting potential snow in the forecast anymore.

If it does decide to snow a tad it won't stick, so thats a plus.

Well my Diesel steamer is down for about a month while I order parts

Log splitter finally bit the dust. The Briggs and Stratton gave me 18 hassle free years. Going yank this engine and replace it with a Honda. That should last me the rest of the trip.

by the way this unit has been sitting outside all this time. Maybe I’ll give it a little more love this time around.

Well I got my Honda engine and I’m loving it. That puppy started on a half a pull. Oh and almost half the price of a Briggs.

I love my Honda snowblower and lawn mower for that reason. (not that other stuff can't do it, but these do it every time) :dblthumb2:

That's awesome about the price!

I have a Troy Bilt lawn mower and snow blower, both have Briggs motors and 99% of the time they start 1st pull. It's great.

I have Poulin push mower with a Briggs, Troy-Bilt rider and Snow blower with the Powermore engines, and a 30 year old Craftsman Trac-Drive snow blower with a Tecumseh.

All of them run tip-top, but the old Tecumseh was made before ethanol gas, so it likes to have it's carb tweaked often.

If you take care of these small engines, (change oil EVERY season, Use stabilizer in the fuel and/or use non-ethanol gas, and keep the engine oil/dirt free) any one of them should last you for decades.

Commuting home, I almost ran over this guy on a bicycle today. He came out of nowhere. :(

O wow. You're a good man lol. I would have dropped a few W.T.F.'s out the window lls.

Way nicer than the stock GT one. Is that ford performance filter also?

Yes, it's the GT350 CAI. It came as part of the ECU Ford Performance Calibration Tune kit.

Yeah was all set to go with stage 3 kit but the torque loss vs HP gain wasn’t worth it. Not over 7000 rpms enough. Went with an airaid cai and a Lund ngage. Thinking of doing 18 gt manifold... anyways.... I hear a cold air intake with a tune really bumps HP with the turbo. Noticeable gain on the butt synonym?
